[Discussion] How u get into One Piece

So this is how I got into it. A while back I was looking at top 10 anime fights, and at number 2 the uploader had lucci vs luffy, the fight really grabbed me and my brothers attention at the ti,e since we were both watching the vid together, so soon after my brother started watching it from there ( didn't watch it at that time) and he used to start bragging on how sooper dooper awsum it was, I brushed it off with a mere line claiming the art was shitty, the concept is boring, so I assumed it was just a waste of time, i finally heeded his advice and started watching it, it was a glorious experience, I am still not upto date with the manga, I'm on episode 603 atm, and tbh, out of the HST one piece remains unrivaled in my eyes from everything I've seen from the beginning of the show, till episode 603.

Naruto anime was being boring with tons of fillers. So I decided to start watching one piece (as it was part of the big three, and my experiences with Naruto was good and), since it had the most number of chapters and I had a lot of time.

After that I just kept watching and Watching. I picked up the Manga after skip.

Naruto ended, i noticed that there were 700 chapters on one piece i hadn't read.

Sometime during the ninja war I got tired of Naruto and Googled what other manga there were out there.

By the time I got to around chapter 50, I switched to the anime then switched back to the manga during Thriller Bark.

Likewise, right now it's my #1 on my list next to Toriko.. However, Naruto is faaar down my list lol

my brothers friend said that he watches animes.I asked him aren't you too old for it??he said try these and you will find the answer.he gave me some episodes of naruto,bleach,fairytail & onepiece.I really liked first 3 so i watched each & every episode including fillers.After that my life got boring and i had holidays so i started onepiece and i loved luffy.These are the reasons why onepiece is no.1 for me

Lazy Sunday got episode 1-30 on a dvd, lets give it a twirl u know. 12minutes in I'm like shit's boring. but episode 2 Zoro appears n u know the goofyness gets badassery n it just works plus hey its pirates, swords, awesome powers crazy villains n the promise of more stuff like that plus the bonus of its more Samurai X period than other anime u know. Early Monday morning I'm thru n already on the prowl for more and then we r here, now reading the manga as it comes but letting the episode build up so we can have those crazy all nighters as in the premise of watching the best manga ever.

I started from the beginning with no prior knowledge except that it was like 500+ episodes (at the time). I decided to watch it, but I dropped it around episode 620. It lost my interest.

Just like this guy i had no prior knowledge on Op before i started watching, i heard the name once. I was opening a certain site when i accidentally clicked the wrong link and visited a site where i could watch every Op episode, i then gave it a go. It's my favourite mainstream manga after Toriko. I've caught up to all the chaps.

bored weekend searching for cool anime i found OP it looked promising so i buyed the dvds i had dail up i was disappointment at first because graphics are sit in first few seasons i was bored doing nothing so decided better be bored watching it and got hooked watched one piece 9 10 hours a day until i caught up on latest episode

Like many others I watched the dub version as a kid and later got into it. v_v
