[Theory] How Tobi got Obito's eye?

Speculating a reason why Tobi would take and use a newb 2 tomoe sharingan

* He knew the abilities Obito's sharingan would have because he knew who he was related to had spacetime sharingan
* He took it and grew it in his lab. He is able to grow sharingan up to 3 tomoes
* He needs any sharingan he can get / wanted to try it

Maybe Zetsu ate his corpse.

He has lots of Uchiha eyes in his lab right. He said he wouldnt let go of Sasuke cus he had a nice set of eyes so he likes to collect eyes. So since he knew about the event and he knew then an Uchiha had died then he went there and collected it. Maybe he just took away the rocks and took it. Im surprised it was still intact.

But this makes me wonder, since he has his eye, and we have seen that his right part of his body is intact but his left part is a white zetsu part. Does that mean he has Obitos half body? Did he use some immortality jutsu or is he Obito?

So you'd expect him to be using one-could that mean Obito's eye can open it?

Kakashi took Obito's eye, didn't he? Uchiha lineage isn't necessary. But, Tobi could def. be Izuna, which is sounding more and more likely to me.

Tobi right eye is the one He has always had sines He first appeared in Manga, the source of His dimensional powers, His left eye till He took Nagato rinnegan is the one He has had covered up till now. What dose that tell you?

Yup, could be. But my only doubt is, why did he invest so much time in developing his eye ? We know he got that sharingan in 2 tomoe form (well most probably). So, couldnt he use the other shitload of already developed sharingan eyes ? My point is - why go so far ahead as to use only THAT eye when he couldnt be sure that eye's future power to begin with ?

Hold on!
Perhaps he took Obito's sharingan seeing as it was the only one available -it was before the Uchiha massacre.
Maybe he didn't have eyes and used Zetsu to get Obito's sharingan because he knew about the mission.
It could mean that he's Izuna.

That's could be a problem,because at that time he would have been in the leaf secretly kidnapping Uchiha's then taking their eyes or grave-rob.Which seem very unlikely.

Thing is why would he take Obito's 2-tomoe sharingan ? The answer could be that he hadn't any eyes and made Zetsu take Obito's after he had died.
That COULD be one of the reasons why.
