You still dont get that in the manga Hinata idolised Naruto but the panels were making it absolutely clear she loves him.You take things too literally.Based on the context and how the drawings were shown it was obivous.Certain things are imples,not expressly said.Salad doesnt idolise Burrito nor does he AT PRESENT love him.She followed him to see what prank he was going to pull.Its really that simple
Meh. I think Hinata watching Naruto became her muse by pure coincidence. But it quickly became admiration and love.
That's what I got from this page:

-> Was in the forest to be alone
-> Sees a deemed "failure" training and giving it his all
-> Gets inspired and watches him
-> Admiration turns into love

And what I am trying to say is that all these were simply buildup/coverups to her love for him.The way she stared at him,the way she gave him the scarf after the bullies episode,her being the only person to actually see him train.Reading between the lines it was obvious to anyone that she was a love interest.Hinata loving Naruto was the bulk of her character as the manga portrayed her.Heck the official descrpiton of the Last Movie characters has "loves Naruto since her Academy days" mentioned in itHinata's idolization of Naruto did not appear out of thin air. You do realize that was explained right? Hinata started to follow Naruto, when? When she actually saw him training constantly, or when he actually committed a good deed (Naruto saving her from the bullies). It was at that point, when Hinata began to actually follow Naruto and watch him. That's when she began to understand how he was a proud failure.
What I am intertwining both situations is that Sarada is following Boruto. For the same reason? No. But what I am stating is both started from genuine interest. .
Bolt is the mischevious guy in town.It seems mischief is asserted to Bolt himself in these 2 panels when both Naruto and Sakura say "Let me guess..Its Bolt" Therefore she probably brings him up for pranks and similar feelings towards their Dads although tis possible later on for her to be pairing fodderMore so on the fact that this was probably not the first time, nor the last, or maybe in-between considering that she mentioned him with Sakura
