How to save a gif file on Photoshop ?

I've made a gif , and when I save it , I save it as a gif format , but when I try to put it as avatar , it doesn't move .

My Q is , how can I save a gif on my PC ?

Are you making sure to click 'Save for Web & Devices' instead of 'Save as'?

If that's not the case, then it could be due to:
a) the gif is bigger than the maximum size of an avatar
b) the file size itself exceeds the limit allowed for NB and may be causing the gif to not animate
c) problems regarding the settings when saving the gif itself
