You can tell by the chain of conversations happening here now, the thread topic died at my post. It took a whole other day for a post then everything since has been off topic. Say what you want, the threads dead. That was on topic. The topic is about whether Oda knows about this pirate and discussing whether Boa is based on her or not falls under that topic. If Boa is indeed based on her, well then you immediately know that you don't need to inform Oda about her as he already knows about her and even based a character on her.

That makes a difference of exactly 1 hour and 40 minutes and last time I checked a day consists out of 24 hours. However even assuming it was a day, well that makes no difference whatsoever as 1 hour, 2 hours or a day are so close to each other that they might as well be the same thing when you try to justify the "thread was dead"-statement, in particular because the official time period to acknowledge a thread as being dead, is a whole month of inactivity.
And it's kinda laughable that you are talking about arrogance when you made a thread with a dubious statement you present as a proven fact based on information you almost certainly exclusively got from this thread, but give the impression you found it all yourself and when someone points that out, your argument is that the thread in question was dead and you said this on the exact same day that thread was made and only a few hours after you posted in it...
And my motives are extremely simple and clear: don't go run off with other people's work without even crediting them and don't go making threads about the exact same topic because you decided that 1 hour and 40 minutes of no posts means the thread is dead.
It wasn't other people's work, show me anywhere Tomato linked her to Robin?
I never said it was a fact in the thread, just because I didn't say "I think" or something along the lines doesn't mean I'm declaring it as fact since I never said "it's a fact Boa's based on Shih"
Please describe how it's arrogant to create a thread focused on a post you made in a thread that you know people aren't viewing frequently? People weren't seeing the post in this thread(evidenced by the replies received in it's own thread and the lack thereof in this one) but did when it was in it's own thread. I felt people might like to see it and decide for themselves and the best way would be to make a new thread that would get their attention since they were passing over this one, which it did.
