How to get a gif file work

hello people ,I am new here ...I just uploaded a gif avatar but it doesn't seem to work....any one knows how to make it work:naruto:

it says its an in valid file

are you sure that its saved as a GIF when you save it make sure you saved the whole file and not just the main pic.GIF`s made with an image animater.You take pictures and put them into slides and convert the file into a gif after you animate them Ask Yaminosoul for help with this hes better then me at this.
