For sasuke if you can get in first and start a combo, just keep going. His susanoo is slow enough that most characters can finish and start a new combo before he can get a hit off. Also they sub back into your combo. I love when sasuke players awaken, they are like "i'm gonna rape". 5 seconds later I win xd

For people with large awakenings, combos are the way to go. When they substitute, they appear again in front of you. That means that unless they block right away, which most people don't do, then they will still be getting hit with the combo.
