I went to the hairdresser twice to change my haircolor.
Well my natural hair color is dark brown so I told him to make it a bit brighter :|

And it happened twice that instead of brighter it has become reddish brown XD

Someone has any advice? :|

I have dark hair and this happened to me the first few times I dyed my hair... Fair warning don't try to fix it at home. I did this after I hated wht the hair dresser did and the brown closest to my hair color turned my hair green because it was still in shock... Worst 6 months of high school

The problem is that on the color spectrum there are light shades of almost any color. So just saying make it lighter is vague. You have to know what color you want your hair to be.

So look at different shades of brown and find the shade that you want and suggest it next time.

Either explain what you want exactly to yo hairdressser, or change hairdresser. After this you either wait or re-dye your hair.

I'm not sure if I'm a little late but you could try an ash blonde hair dye ( 10.1 helensinki) . I know it sounds weird, but your hair won't turn blonde! It'll turn into a light brown if your hair is naturally dark brown/black. Also, the ash tones will help in not resulting in any brassiness( reddish or ginger tones). I tried it and my hair was a light brown:). Although, I'd ask a professional hairdresser for advice.

Hope that helps; sorry if it hasn't :)
