Place him into an izanami universe. Kakashi could sacrifice obito's mangekyo eye to place madara inside the izanami universe forcing madara toreplay the battle till he's sealed. If you dont think kakashi can do it, theres the possibility of Sasuke doing it, or even Obito having a change of heart, use your imagination theres alot of posibilities.

I highly doubt Izanami would work, it worked on Kabuto because he was mentally unstable and didn't even know who he was himself he needed to realize reality, Madara is calm, calculated and rational even if someone were to prepare it I doubt it would have any effect, Itachi said himself it doesn't work on everyone.

I'm still not sure Madara is still immortal. If he could keep all the Edo advantages after breaking the technique, why didn't he do it to begin with? Why would he care?

I say so because itachi stated it was built for specific use against arrogent uchiha's, and his eye capabilities have nothing to do with a technique built specifically for punishing uchiha sharingan abusers... i just thought of it as a possibility.

and yet it was used on kabuto - The technique was developed to use on someone who had to realize their downfall to get out of the techniques time loop. Whether it's used on an uchiha member or not, the principle still applies - and im sure we can all agree that if uchiha madara got trapped inside this his downfall would be his arrogance in his abilities.
as for users, im not sure, this is however a possible way to seal madara as once he's trapped he'll be sealable. just a theory.

first of all welcome to NB , second madara is the biggest master of the uchiha and has more knowledge on izanami (uchiha techs) than anyone else so trapping him in one is not possible. U_U
