[Theory] How the tournament works/is structured

The winner of each block will face a member of the Donquixote Family. Then the winners from each of those fights will advance semi-finals > finals > winner wins right to challenge Diamante for the Mera Mera no Mi.

4 Blocks, 4 Donquixote Family members.

Hmmm. Sounds about right. I am betting that random draws will be pulled from the Block Winners as to which DD member they will face, and setting up an 8 person tournament.

Only question is if two members of the Block Winners lose (causing two Doflamingo members to fight) would that fight basically stop?!

no they would just make each doflamingo member fight one of the remaining 2 block winners

I don't know, but I think they're fighting along with everyone in the block. I think they lost considerably with Jesus's entering the tournament. And will loose every time until round D, when Doflamingo decides to act and enter himself, killing whoever entered in block D.

After the Block Winners are determined it will probably go like this.

Burgess vs Machvise: Winner- Burgess

Cavendish (maybee that other rookie they mentioned) vs Dellinger: Winner- Dellinger (or the other rookie person if he is in it)

Lucy vs Lao G: Winner- Lucy

Rebecca vs Senor Pink: Winner- Rebecca




Burgess vs Rebecca: Winner- Burgess

Lucy vs Dellinger/Rookie Pirate: Winner- Lucy




Lucy vs Burgess: Winner- Lucy




Lucy vs Diamante: Winner- Lucy
