I know many people have made how the series ends theories but here me out.

Naruto and Sasuke have their epic battle and at the end of it Sasuke comes to his senses and feel remorse for his actions, he afterwards apparently commits suicide or sacrifices himself to do something good but in a way that leaves no body.

During the Epilogue we see a much older Naruto telling the story to a bunch of children. They ask if he ever found Sasuke's body and he says no. We also see how everything has changed, we learn what happened to many of the characters.

But in the very end we see Naruto wondering about Sasuke and he looks out over the distance as if he sees something. We pan to a distance from the villiage and see a lone figure watching the villiage. A close up reveals that it is an older Sasuke watching the villiage with an unreadable expression.

What do you all think?

That actually sounds cool. Wouldn't be surprised if the whole series was a flashback.

And what does that have to do with the thread? >.>

At OP: Sasuke died? I don't like that to happen :(

I agree if he dies then everything Naruto has sacrificed for him becomes meaning less. But at the same time Sasuke has commited to many crimes to be welcomed back with open arms.

That's not entirely true. This isn't just about Naruto and Sasuke.

I say Last fight between Naruto and Sasuke, Sasuke admits defeat and decides what he wants best for himself and kills himself to meet with Itachi, family, and clan in the afterlife to find peace with himself. Naruto becomes Hokage or leader of all five lands. All five lands are now allies. End shows Naruto in a new Konohagakure village with many things changed from the past with Naruto walking with Hinata and their child and looking up at the hokage summit :)
