OK we kno from narito and sasuke that the sage was able to see the generations he is within his children and I think only his children

So I think hagaromos chakra is also in madara and hashirama we know madara took hashis DNA now is the sages chakra not the two sons not to mention the tentails chakra madara has so I believe madaras current lower half still has a huge amount of chakra that the sage used

So I believe thru manipulation he can momentarily make his soul a being or at least its own separate entity

The sage will also grant the kage their full strength and help them either end infinant genjutsu (sorry idk how to spell so I won't put the name) or at least show them how this will practically cripple kaguya compared to her current state

Or he will get them to the other demension

The only good thing that Hagoromo can do is revive Itachi to save mankind.

The Sage was able to come about because Madara has both Indra's and Ashura's chakra and Madara is dead at this point. Seems the Sage still feels like there is more to be done so I'm thinking he's gonna give the Kages their strength back to their original potential (I.e Senju Bros getting chakra and Minato with arms). I think it's more likely that they'll help the living rather than helping Naruto and Sasuke. That's for Kakashi and company to do.
