[Discussion] How the manga has changed

Dont get me wrong the story is very exciting and i still love reading naruto but....

But now there is all this crazy justu flying around like narutoa transformations and super overpowerd eye techs and big charka blasts like in DBZ(also a good manga). I mean it is not even conceivable that anyone could really take on naruto or saskue with normal ninja training

It might be just me but i miss the days when the fights where just simple ninja, no super powers but when fights where fought with kuni, simple element justus and the smarts of the ninja world. where anyone could have somewhat of a chance against anyone else if they knew there stuff

Ninjas trained and mastered there elements and knew the advantages and disadvanges of there elements against another.Naruto half the time does not know what the **** is going on. i think that why kakashi was so cool in the beginning cause he knew his stuff and was calm and cool and had a base knowledge on a range of justus( because of study of ninjustu) and how to counter a justu came up with a plan and followed though. and itachi was so badass yea he had the sharigan but he also was a tijustu master and a mastermind with genjustu BUT still not unbeatable. the uchia where epic but could be taken down by a skill ninja who knew how to fight the sharigan. i mean if the sharigan( 3 tome) was that epic the leaf villege would have pawnd anyone in a war in no time with the whole clan at there command

There was tijustu, ninjustu, genjustu and little bit of summing techs and all where well balanced against each other. Ninja had to train for YEARS on end to become the ninja that they where. Not just go somewhere and learn a histroy changing justu in a copule days or in the middle of a fight. every fight was a struggle to learn the enemy before they figured you out and they might improve as ninja AFTER the battle after they took in the experience

Now its getting too much like DBZ in my mind, every fight some one just powers up more out of nowhere it seems, and naruto and saskue are leaving everyone behind. one of the old saying in naruto that all the ninja used to say was that the next generation will always surpass the old one, how is anyone going to surpass naruto and saskue and correct me if im wrong but the old generations seem to be way more bad ass than the current one minus naruto and saskue. i know Naruto and Saskue are the main charters but i just think the old manga stuff was way more fun to read

I heard Kishi is getting tired of Naruto, and is hurrying to finish it, but imho it'd be stupid if in the climax battle, kunai were getting tossed around, I mean I know the show's about ninja, but it's been implied ever since the first few eps of Naruto that eventually Naruto and Sasuke would dwarf everyone in terms of power.

Honestly I'm not surprised, and I'm enjoying the show, tbh if you're feeling nostalgic, you should go back and watch a few older eps or mangas or something, but I think the power scaling is fine where it's at.

The anime fillers are good for filling in the gaps tho, it kind of brings all the big jutsus and awkward story lines into perspective and makes it bearable.

the show is actually centered around ninja obtaining power and the main ways of doing that was either having a kekkei genkai, knowing an abundance of jutsu or controlling the tailed best. and the ironic thing is that they all tie in with the legendary SO6P. that's the main reason why it came to this.

Dont bash me for this people but how is it the first guy to have the discoverd knowlege of ninjustu also the most badass in the history of ninja . shouldn't he have been a guy that figured some simple element stuff and then it all builds up from there.

I mean lol what where the people he has teaching ninjustu thinking. Great i can blow fire from my mouth or Knock down some trees with wind but this guy can kill be with his eyes or bust out huge monsters or seal my soul away by slapping his hand to the ground, i think hes holding out on us

ur perspective is all wrong

earlier in Naruto they were all kids
and u saw everything for Naruto's perspective for 90% of the manga

people have progressed and gotten stronger
and some folks never had a reason to go all out completely as they have had to do more recently with the bigger battles

and when information was given it was always from different sources...u cant assume that whoever was talkin knew everything about whatever subject it was...or that they couldnt be wrong...like that doesnt even make sense...

Naruto and Sasuke aren't run of the mill ninjas so why should they be comparable to anyone? Especially Naruto...he's a jinchu who never grasped how to use the bijuu until recently

you like A LOT of people who complain on here seem to have lost sight of how the story progressed...all folks remember is like the really old stuff or the brand new stuff

Like the story none the less .and naruto manga was always over powered with characters like oro jman and 3rd honkage each of this guys never through kunia or used weapon. i believe you just lost grasp of the story they are other manga out there but none as good as naruto thou imo.

The wording or translations seem to be getting a little cheesier that's all I have a problem with lol and all manga's have to progress if they're not getting stronger and they're stuck fighting the same people at the same level doing the same things throwing kunais around for 300 chapters you would have made a thread about them being boring. This is a war where area attacks count not a dual and plus these guys are becoming living legends you can't have a legend with shit all strength? It has to be all consuming!

You cant just expect them to power up just like that, every story start from somewhere and you cant expect them to be stable.. Everything is fine from my opinion
