1. The Byakugan has a blind spot, and that's at the base of the neck/ the medulla oblangata. Sakura exploited it, regardless of intention.

2. The Sharingan does not have vision like the Byakugan does. Also, nerve endings for the eyes do not go other than where they're supposed to, so the eyes located on mystery man's scalp and arms serve no purpose other than a horrible attempt to make the guy look strong. He can't see through them, so Sakura being able to get the jump on him is valid.

1. The blindspot is tiny as hell. About the size of an arrow.

2. He has eyes on both the back of his head and side of it. He even show the fire ball with those eyes.

I honestly think Sakura has some secret ability to make herself undetectable that even she doesn't know about.

Its not impressive when if the enemy is nerfed. Even you have to admit it was illogical.

No it just makes it more impressive, the biggest nerf was on Naruto and Sasuke, not the enemy. But we can just say they didn't go all out because of the kids and they underestimated their opponent, he mostly took them by surprise.

Also Sasuke taking a hit for Sarada is a plot device to show how much he cares about his daughter, for those dumb enough to think he doesn't.

He used the sharingan on his head to see Sasuke's Fireball this chapter.

The point is, it shouldn't matter, as Sakura came at him from the front, so she should have been seen a mile away.

So why didn't they just blitz him and get it over with so Sarada wouldn't be in danger?

I have no idea, the nerf is real.

Easy answer is there wouldn't be much of a plot then.

As someone already said it, villains ignore her, she takes a cheap shot from behind them.
