How terrible was team 7, on day 0 of the series?

Naruto: Before awakening kyuubi chakra, before getting shadow clones.
Sasuke: Before awakening Sharingan, before getting Lee's taijutsu and speed.
Sakura: Just sucks

How could Iruka have put a team like this together, wtf? Was he on drugs when he made the teams? He's lucky they got all their enhancements so quickly. These guys sucked and probably would have gotten owned by the other two rookie teams. Choji or Shino might solo, LOL!

Uhh the teams were made by the grades. Sasuke had the highest grades and Naruto had the lowest that's why they were on the same team

The other teams just seemed so much more powerful as soon as they were introduced in forest of death. Hinata already had her kekkei genkai awakened, shino's abilities were op, Kiba had the devastating Gatsuuga, Choji had the body expansion jutsu, meat tank as well as the ino-shika-cho. Whereas all team 7 had at the beginning was basic taijutsu.

Naruto gets saved by Kurama every time he is near death, at the beginning of the show it was established that Kurama would fade away if Naruto was dead so Kurama would go all-out to save him.

The fact that I have to explain this fact to you is depressing, but let me highlight a few certain words I wrote: at the beginning of the show.

It has clearly been retconned as of the more recent chapters, but we are talking about Naruto manga chapter 1.

Also teams were formed based on grades to even out the scaling
Naruto being the worst, sasuke being the best
Obviously if sasuke graduated top of his class then he had to start from something

If it went how it should've, it would've been Ino (highest), Sakura (mid level), and Naruto (low).

Sasuke was number 1 at almost everything ( except genjutsu its unkown)

Sakura is smarter than ino
