Lee most likely isn't stronger. Madara confirmed that generations are getting weaker and weaker.

Naruto would still need RSM to beat hashirama, come onnn. But even so madara stated how far below the 5 mage were compared to basically anyone back in there time

To half of you who say that Guy didn't beat Foddara, just remember it took a shnit load of power ups for Foddara to have control of the war. Base Guy was able to take out Foddara in Susanoo with Hirudora and he wasn't even in 7th gate. Lee was able to deuce Foddara with a single kick.

Heck, I doubt Guy would've even needed 8th Gate to take out Foddara if he was in his base form, besides... the Juubi had regenrative powers that surpassed all medical jutsu and any other healing factor. In my eyes, Guy DID defeat Foddara but the Juubi saved him from death. Don't count the Juubi as Foddaras own power.

Solo God Gai and his Solo Disciple Lee own most of NV. Only true characters who got to where they are now with hard work instead of hand me down power ups. Gaijutsu > Ninjutsu.
