The only thing that Itachi prevents from solo'ing EMS Madara is his fire power. MS Itachi proved to be equal or even above EMS Sasuke due to his intelligence, but he doesn't have what it takes to bring down EMS Madara. Perfect Susano'o just shits on everything that Itachi has to offer.

Why do people keep bringing up the stamina itachi was dying and yet that low stamina did not impede him in his fight with sasuke


One of the reasons that low stamina is even there is because itachi does not like fighting he loathes it that's why hai arsenal is made up of one shots and end game

In his MS state he's stronger than Obito. So i think it's safe to say he would be on par with Madara or just a bit under Madara

hashi doesnt really have a counter against itachis genjutsu/amaterasu,EmS itachis susano mostlikely will be on EMS sasukes level,but yata and totsuka will make his PS superior,his low stamina was due to him being sick,not saying he has a large pool,but healthy EMS itachi will have a reserve close to jman

In my opinion, Itachi really could have surpassed Madara. Madara at a young age was incredibly powerful, he was around the age of part 1 Naruto and already able to defeat the older and stronger members of the Senju Clan. Itachi was incredibly powerful too, however. He already became an Anbu captain at age 13 which is just outrageous. Madara got as strong as he did because of his EMS, otherwise he would've gone blind and become fodder who couldn't fight anymore. If Itachi had gotten the EMS, I'm confident that he had the ability to evolve it into a perfect susanoo. Pre-Tinnegan Madara is in an entirely different tier than edo-Madara and beyond, so I want to make sure there's no confusion; I think that Itachi would have surpassed Madara with no Rinnegan, had Itachi gained the EMS
