Okay so with these scans we know for a fact that Hagoromo gave Asura his power. Now, before you say he gave Asura Ninshuu, he states that he gave Naruto and Sasuke the same power he gave Asura. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Hagoromo doesn't give Naruto and Sasuke Ninshuu, he gives them his literal power. So it's quite clear that Asura awakened his bodily powers, and was given RSM by his father, but he still tied with Indra.

Any theories on how Indra combated RSM with just a Mangekyo Sharingan, and no it is not manga factual that Indra couldn't go blind.

Indra's eye prowess is a direct offspring from Hagoromo. I'm sure its power is beyond the average (E)MS. I also would like to believe that while Ashura and Naruto both have RSM, they have their own versions of it, with different power scaling.

As for the theory of how Indra combated Ashura, uhm, the first ever Susanoo? I swear Susanoo is somehow Indra's essence that all Uchiha inherited.

Basically all of Rikudou Sasuke's Sharingan feats but on a larger scale, Indra's arrow was named after Indra implying what level of jutsu Hagoromo's children were using. It's also likely that he had more than 2 abilities.

So the math is clear Indra would have been 300% stronger than Ashura if not for Hogaromo.

He was bequached yin power as well if you look at it Hashirama also has Yin release. So does Naruto after power up. Yet Sasuke has only Yin release So it's likely and obviously stated in the manga that Indra had the yin chakra of the sage. Which also confirms you only need yin release for Rinnegan(potent enough and Ashira is a non issue).

You're going to ignore the manga scans I showed in the thread? He makes it quite clear he left power to Asura and left that same power to Naruto and Sasuke. The power he left was not Ninshuu. Power isn't necessarily chakra, he made it very clear Ashura's own chakra made him Indra's equal

Ashura = Juubi's chakra + Sage's body

Indra = Juubi's eye + Sage's chakra


VoTE 2 was a reflection of Indra and Ashura's feats, they didn't need bijuu like Naruto and Sasuke because their power comes directly from the Juubi

1) Ashura trains with people and awakens power rivalling Indra.
2) The Sage seeing him working with others decides to make him leader of the ninshuu.
