Temari was also a character who's potential ended in Part 1 due to Kishi's poor writing of his side characters.

That's an extremely impressive feat for a Part 1 genin. That Temari blowing away forests, it looks like the same scale as the Eight Tail's cyclone move. Gaara's got a badass sister.
