Konohamaru can use Kage Bunshin easily, implying he have loads of chakra already, even being just a kid. He learned Rasengan from Naruto! Konohamaru have to be the most intelligent person we've ever seen! I can't even imagine!

Konohamaru defeated one of Pain. In this day, he showed that he's not only strong, but he's also clever enough to think in a tactic to defeat the enemy (stronger than him).

I'm betting Konohamaru will be somewhat close to a Itachi mixed with Naruto when he's 20! Without Sharingan and Bijuus, obviously.
