He has a large chakra pool/stamina
A tech that cannot beat beat by ninjutsu
Super healing
Battlefield altering jutsu
Sensing ability and can fight with his eyes closed
Maybe be able to absorb chakra

I don't know but seeing your avatar made me to remember a thing I wanted to say. If Gai had excellent control of his chakra the same way Tsunade has and could empower his already humongous strenght the same way, then he would really be terrifying even without gates at all

Lol only someone that truely knows Kisames would've guessed it right. Kisame is OP and doesn't get enough credit. He's underrated the only shinobi that has those feats is Madara and Kisame
