[Discussion] How strong is Pekoms?

We know that the big mom pirates ship has arrived near dressrosa and has clashed with the sunny ship. We do not know if they are going to fight but it brings up a question. How strong is pekoms? Will sanji be able to defeat him?
I personally think the answer is no. Pekoms seems to be high vice admiral level. I think that pekoms will defeat sanji with mid difficulty.

I am simply guessing here, but I think sanji should be able to take care of pekoms. I am not sure if he could take the duo of tamago and pekoms though.

Are you kidding me? Have you seen how Pekoms one shotted the logia bigshot in Fishman Island? The guy is probably not among the top 3 of big mamas crew but I would be surprised if sanji could defeat him without much difficulty

I think he must be quite strong, along with Tamago if Big Mam only sent out those two to deal with the issue at FI. I think the strongest member of the Big Mom pirates we've seen thus far was Bobbin. Pekoms would be M3 level IMO easily.

Not necessarly. They could have been simple messengers, like Rockstar of the Red Hair pirates for example. Usually fame is enough for pirate not to attack subordinates, so yonkou rarely usually send their strongest fighters right away unless in combat/war situations

He should be someone that will give Sanji a good fight. I want that Oda finally gives Sanji the spotlight and shows us his strength and badass side. Tired of seeing how he wanks Luffy/Zoro but doesn't do the same with him.

True but they're different situations. Rockstar was just a messenger to WB but Pekoms/Tamago were ordered to check up on an island/factory. Also, we see Pekoms/Tamago stay closely with Big Mam in the current arc so I doubt they're some noob in the crew like Rockstar was.

He should be really formidable, I see him as a future matchup for Chopper and Tamago for Brook. But right now there no match for them, because right now they seem M3 lvl. The two members I'm more concerned with in power is three eyes and Bobbins, they seem like her first and second mates. Is her first mate comparable to Marco in power? Is Bobbins a future opponent for Zoro?

Knowing oda though, it wouldn't surprise me if those two were not even her Top 5, and its someone not revealed yet. Kind of how he had me thinking Gladius was the first mate of DD.
