How strong is Hiruzen really?

Just curious about what the base thinks? Some people here make him too overrated or sometimes he is very underrated. But honestly, how strong do you think Hiruzen is? I personally think within the top 15. Maybe even top 10. What do you guys think?

From what we've seen, he's not the greatest shinobi. But, by hype he is easily capable of going toe to toe with most Kages.

He definitely needs more feats now since the power scales have gotten higher.

I'm hoping he has more than two elemental affinities since he was called 'The Professor'.

most of them consider him fodder / the weakest Hokage / weaker than Tsunade but imo he's clearly top 15 or even top 10 (though it might be fanboyism) however we'll never know since Kishi doesn't give a f*ck... so it seems like prime Hiruzen will stay a legend

imo he isnt the greatest hokage... from what was seen i find it hard to believe he was strongest of the 5 kages when when there was the 3rd raikage to contend with... i will say that hiruzen is most likely top 20 tho maybe even top 15... however he is not top 10 imo

It was once stated that in his old age Hiruzen Sarutobi was stronger than/could still take out any of the four other Kages of that time, which includes Gaara's dad, Onoki, current Raikage and current Mizukage
