[Discussion] How strong is Crocodile?

So the question is, where would you rank Crocodile? Pre timeskip, I would rank him as a top 3 Supernova(if he was a rookie ofc). He has great control over his DF. The only thing that held him back was that he didn't know Haki.

The next time we see him, I believe he has gotten a lot stronger. If he's living in the New World, he has most likely learned Haki, and may have developed a few new DF moves, even though he had that practically mastered already.

He's pretty dang strong. Either he's completely retarded for wanting to kill WB, or he actually has the strength to back up his wants. Not saying Crocodile > WB, but I'd say Crocodile is still really strong.

It's hard to say seeing how he got beat by Luffy who had a 30 million bounty at the time, but he also fought on par with Mihawk for a little bit.

Yeah, but before that, Luffy had defeated Arlong, who would've had a higher bounty, had he not bribed that marine guy. I literally find it impossible to place Crocodile. He could honestly take down anybody in a 1-on-1 fight, but a lot of those same people can take him down as well

He didn't get wasted. He nearly killed Luffy twice. Luffy's tenacity is what made him win that last fight
