[Discussion] How strong Fire Fist Ace actually could've become.

We all know that Ace awakened his conqueres haki at a really early age, he was like 10 or something, Luffy first used it against marigold and the other snake sister, Luffy was 17-18 at that point. Imagine if rayleigh taught Ace how to control his conqueres haki at a really early age and he later on ate the mera mera fruit. He would be damn invincible. He would be admiral +++ with super control of his haki, probably just like Shanks with a mera mera friuit as well xD When the marines heard roger was having a kid they wanted that kid dead asap, could the reason be that ace was born a freaking prodigy and they knew that would happen all along? xD

I'd say he could become admiral tier...
However because he never really seemed to use, show interest or even the capability to use Haki shows a reluctance to learn its usage ; thus Ace (until he realizes Hakis true strength) would only ever be as strong as his devil fruit , much like Enel.

True D: he never had anyone to teach him. Luffy didnt even know what it was untill rayleigh told him. If just ace had someone who could teach it to him too

He did have people to teach him... Jozu,Marco,Vista,Newgate... It's bizarre as to why he didn't want to use haki

It's because the use (or at least the mentioning of) haki was very, very limited before Rayleigh explained it to Luffy I think everyone in MF that was VA lvl and above was quite proficient with Haki but since it was pre Rayleigh expanation Oda didn't really mention it that much, not many people used it back then, or to be more precise they did use it but Oda never mentioned it and last weeks chapter could back up that claim, look at Garps punches at Marineford, look very much normal, now look at his punches in the flashback ... Balck ... Armament

OT - he would probably be near or on his fathers level eventually

And? I already KNEW all of this. I don't need explanations of stuff I know. And the fact we didn't know anything about haki doesn't change a thing about the fact ace was powerless before Akainu. Couldn't even hit him... The fact we knew nothing about haki doesnt mean we just never saw Ace use it ; he didn't have it.

He'd probably on similar level as Doflamingo today if he survived. At his prime he'd likely be on the same general level as his dad.

I used to think Ace didn't have haki because he didn't show it(I think Algalon remembers) but it just makes more sense that he did indeed have it but was not as proficient with it as Luffy.

If Ace didn't have Haki and Tashigi does thats more screwed up than some Naruto stuff

Ace was using fire against magma, for Ace magma is the worse possible matchup, its the same as some random person trying to fight ice but instead of just leaving it alone to melt putting it in a refridgerator (and by that aiding the ice)

You can make water into steam but the only thing he could do to magma is make it more powerful and cool down slower

people are stronger than Tashigi without haki... For example: Caeser and Monet. And their logias are weaker than aces. Ace would pwn Tashigi so I don't see your point.

The fact ace was a bad match up doesnt change the fact he couldn't hit Akainu once. Luffy is profficient at haki and CAN hit logia users. If Ace couldn't in my eyes he didn't use it...

I see Ace as the "Itachi of Naruto", they both could of potentially been the strongest characters in their respective universe. Ace could of easily been PK if he didn't die and received help/training from WB. (Assuming WB doesn't die from his illness or old age)

currently with training after the two year time skip, I see Ace being Admiral Level or slightly above that (weaker than a yonkou though)....If were talking about the EOS then I could see Ace being Yonkou or even the pirate king. It would of been interesting If Ace was still alive and became pirate king and Luffy challenged him for the title =D

Look at what happened when crocodile fight jozu, he decked him in the face with full speed.
Instead of dying or being unconscious like other logia users, crocodile did a graceful backflip and tossed his a$$ with a mini sandstorm.

Ace, idk his story...he first started off fending off kuzan's attack, than forgot how to use kings Haki against the red dog.
Even if it didn't work, it would of done a little damage.
