Well I wouldn't day your wrong...If I'm not mistaken marriage and *** is kind of a bigger deal in Asia than it is in the US do it is possible they were planning on getting married (considering they had a kid together it was basically certain)....Daddy sadly met Hidan :/.

I would say they are above average Jonin. Awkwardly between the strong like Kakashi and the fodder Jonin! I mean in the war Asuma as taking people down so he is slightly above fodder, but can't take anyone above fodder (same with Kurenai)!

Thats true, so in my eyes they're just strong enough to be given names. If Kushina wasn't Naruto's mom, at least she would be given a name and a line or two.

i think her career as a shinobi died down after she became a jincuruki, but i think she was op, because i remembered when kyubi tried attaking baby naruto, she was able to keep up with both minato's and kyubi's speed to protect naruto, so i'd say she is almost kage level....

She was a jinchuriki so she was strong. I'd put her at a high jonin level somewhere between Asuma and Yamato. Quick temper and brute strength like Sakura, original/comical fighting & planning like Naruto, and frankly experiance. Keep in mind her talent for seals, it's assumed that Minato learned his seals through her and that was a huge part of his legacy
