Just started a new game of skyrim I was wondering on how should I make my character, for example an archer(only use bows) A knight (sword and shield) A mage? Much help would be appreciated.
Skyrim never forces you into a particular playstyle; that's the beauty of it. So don't feel limited by archetypal RPG classes; for all I care you could be a shield wielding magic user, and that'd be ok.
I know but I feel like only strictly using certain skills I was thinking about being a vampire knight. Which would be vamperism and sword and shield. I'm only level 4 with this new playthrough I'm doing companion quest right now.
I play a bit of everything. Bows are good for silent long range, so they come in handy when dealing with multiple opponents, daggers with the skill that turns you invisible when you crouch is essentially a death sentence for the enemy, magic is for devastating multi kill.
That's how I play, what you need to remember is no one can tell you what you like.
The game Kingdoms of Amalur showed me as a Universalist, using a bit of everything.
I'm all out attack, i use a daedric sword in one hand and destructive spell plus i have a follower (Serana) who uses magic too... i'm also quite skilled at archery as it comes in handy
I'm all out attack, i use a daedric sword in one hand and destructive spell in the other, plus i have a follower (Serana) who uses magic too and she happens to be the best follower in the game plus she cannot die... i'm also quite skilled at archery as it comes in handy
Well thanks guys I think I will use magic in one hand and sword in another when I get to level 30. But for now I will use sword and shield since i'm a fan this type of play in rpg games. I might become a vampire as I said though.
