Kazuma first molds raiton chakra and shapes it into a lightning natured shadow clone at his side. This clone starts gathering the sharp and energetic raiton chakra. The clone uses shape and nature manipulation to create a sphere of electricity around himself crackling like a plasma ball. After that the clone runs into the woods owned by the aburame clan and disappears while sustaining the plasma ball jutsu and spamming the true falseness spear jutsu.

Kazuma doesn't like bugs. Fuukage is ok though. Lol

"Let's see, it's a good defense that doesn't get in the way of using other jutsu which is very helpful."

"Disadvantages are that you can only use raiton while it's active."

Kazuma manipulates more of his raiton chakra, giving it the properties of lightning. Kazuma shapes it into an orb of lightning setting in his outstretched hand. He then drops his hand while the orb rises into the air. After that, Kazuma manipulates the orb to lay down a steady barrage of lightning bolts at... Kazuma looks for a clone to try it out on. Kazuma fires the lightning bolts at a weredyle (half werewolf half crocodile). :erm:

"Ok this jutsu keeps shooting so while it does its thing, you can throw jutsu all over the place."

"It gives a lot of warning for the opponent to counter it easily."


I have two questions. For the first jutsu, does it go back to b rank every turn it is sustained? For the second jutsu, is it a streaming jutsu? Can I use other chakra natures while it does its thing?

1. It's B-rank as long as it's sustained.

2. It's a stream, yes. You can't perform any other techniques UNTIL the orb starts shooting lightning bolts, I believe. While it's shooting them, I think you can use a follow up jutsu right after that. To be on the safe side, try not to prep another jutsu until you're finished with it. Experiment with it in battles! xD

The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name, and allows the user to perform high grade cutting damage or high penetration piercing thrusts.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.
Note: Uchiha Sasuke and Kakashi Hatake bios can use the technique without handseals

Kazuma performs four hand gestures that are probably correct and let's his chakra flow his hands. He molds some raiton chakra and manipulates it to form electricity buzzing around his hands. Then he shapes it into a few frisbe sized discs which float in the air. After that, Kazuma manipulates them so that they shoot forward at the trees where several hippies appear to have gathered and have chained themselves to the trees they wish to save from being cut down.

"So it's a bunch of direct projectiles and they need a short setup. Good starting your turn with to take the attack or counter something I suppose. It takes a moment and it's boring and simple."

Kazuma performs a string of hand seals and places his hand onto his right wrist. He stands with his feet far apart and with his arms hanging down dramatically. Kazuma gathers chakra and focuses it into his hand with the sharp cutting power and high frequency vibrations that define raiton. He keeps pushing out raiton chakra into his palm until it starts to flow out of his hand so that it is surrounded by white light with bolts of electricity radiating from it. To do this Kazuma uses shape manipulation. After an hour of standing there and charging it up, it begins to make a loud chirping sound. Just incase anybody in the neighborhood wasn't giving him attention Kazuma suddenly yells, "Chidori!" and sprints at a hippy who was late in joining his friends.

"Ok so chidori is dangerous because you gotta get up to them to use your discreet assassination technique. If you don't specialize in it then it's hard to even think about using it. It's good to use because it's cool looking and stuff. Also if your target is unable to react then it's good... but if that's the case it could be a bit overkill couldn't it?"

"Yes, the Chidori is quite overkill if you make contact with an enemy. However, the primary problem is actually hitting your enemy with it. If you don't have a Sharingan, you can only travel in a linear path towards your enemy due to the technique's properties. If you have said dojutsu, you can maneuver, but it's still pretty hard to control. This leaves you at the mercy of an opponent's counter."

"The next A-rank jutsu is a personal favorite of mine, and very powerful. Concentrate your Raiton chakra in your open hand and form a sphere of lightning that surrounds your hand. You can then throw it as a projectile towards your enemy, or punch them with it while it's still connected to your hand. Either way, upon contact, the sphere explodes in a massive lightning explosion. Powerful and fast; the personification of lightning's properties."

Aigis creates a Shadow Clone for Kazuma to test the jutsu on.

Description: The user increases the range of their Chidori by using form manipulation to extend it into a blade up to 10 meters in length. This blade is capable of splitting into multiple additional blades upon contact with an enemy, drastically increasing the number of wounds it can inflict. Like other Chidori-related techniques, this jutsu will numb its target upon contact but unlike others, seems to focus more on having a cutting power, like a katana, than a piercing one. Because of its cutting abilities, it often seems to manifest a certain "solidity"; a tangible aspect.

Kazuma molds raiton chakra while channeling it to his hand. He forms into lightning gathering around his hand by shaping it and giving it the nature of lightning. Then Kazuma lunges forward to lightly bump Aigis's shoulder with his lightning covered hand.

"It's a good go to jutsu for a direct shoot and forget attack. It's really simple and not very aggressive to send as a primary offensive attack."

Kazuma makes the string of hand seals and gathers raiton chakra into his hand. He shapes it to create electricity to crackle around his glowing hand giving off a loud chirping sound. He then shapes the bright white energy surrounding his hand so that it extends forward, out from his outstretched hand into a long ten meter blade of energy. Kazuma then turns around to test it out on a group of hippies who seem to have gathered together in a drum circle.

"It is a lot harder to avoid. It is precise and flexible. Disadvantages are that it's a streaming technique so you are putting more importance into the technique."

Do I need to perform the chidori jutsu before I use this, taking up two moves? If not, then do I still need to use the chidori hand seals for this?

1. In a lot of fights where the sharp spear is used, I don't see the user posting the Chidori for reference, so it technically only counts as one. This applies to all chidori variants, essentially making the parent technique nothing more than a formality xd

Aigis enjoyed Kazuma's wit and smart-ass attitude. It was refreshing, but he was pretty good at what he did, anyway. No complaints.

"Perform a set of three handseals and place your hand on the ground, creating a large triangular bolt of lightning that cuts through the ground while rushing towards your target. Anything in its path is hit. Some things to note: this travels along the ground as it needs it as a medium to be effective, and it's also a stream type, in which you can control the path of the attack with your chakra. You should know the implications of that."

The user then sends an enormous bolt of electricity that cuts through the ground in the direction of the enemy. The shape of the bolt is a triangular with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the target. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

"For this next jutsu, I'm going to cast a genjutsu on you. Don't worry, let me explain."

"This next technique is the Chidori Nagashi, where you'll surge a Chidori throughout your entire body as an unfocused current that can paralyze enemies in its attack range. Alternatively, you can also channel the Nagashi through a focused conduit like a weapon to increase its range. However, one of the better usages is its ability as a full-body chakra surge, where you can disrupt your chakra system with a running of your own chakra throughout your entire body. This full-body surge can dispel genjutsus cast on you by expelling foreign chakra that's been inserted by an enemy. Note, however, that it can only dispel genjutsus up to one rank lower than the Nagashi itself; a property among full-body surge techniques. So, since this jutsu is an A-rank, it can dispel up to B-rank genjutsus."

"There have been a lot of misuses of this jutsu, so be sure to understand it and ask me questions if you have any concerns. But for now, let's try this..."

Aigis places Kazuma under a genjutsu, changing his surroundings to make it look like a dry desert instead of the grassy field they were doing the training in.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

Once Kazuma dispels the genjutsu with the Nagashi, Aigis speaks again.

"For the last technique in this set, you'll be performing another Chidori variant once more. Create a Chidori in your hand, but apply shape manipulation to shoot out senbon shaped lightning bolts in a torrent towards your target. Pretty simple, but the jutsu is very fast and can hit multiple targets or pelt a single one with multiple attacks."

Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbons are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralyzing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.

Kazuma weaves three hand seals and molds raiton chakra. He slaps the earth with his hand and channels his chakra into the ground, converting it into lightning and shaping it into a bright triangle on the ground which he sends ripping through the ground forward to smack into a giant manda sized snake that was sleeping at the edge of the woods.

Advantages are that it's fast for mid range and it can chase them around or avoid things. Bad news is that it's super easy to use a jutsu where you just jump off the ground while making an attack to counter this jutsu.

Kazuma finds himself in a desert. Kazuma thinks it is odd that the desert is so cold but pays no more attention to it. Kazuma molds some raiton chakra and simply forces it out through all his tenketsu simultaneously in an unfocused manner while giving it the nature of lightning so that it surges around his body randomly as electricity. As a side effect, many bugs that decide to land on kazuma are zapped.

It's good for increasing the cutting power of weapons which I like. Also good for any doton coming from the ground. If it's being used offensively then the opponent has more options to counter it or attack.

Kazuma channels raiton chakra into his hand and turns it into electricity gathering around his hand until it gains enough power so that it gives off a chirping noise like chidori. Then kazuma waves his hand through the air, releasing several senbon shaped from the lightning if the chidori. These senbon are sent to stab through several bugs of some kind. :|

Advantages are that it's hard to defend against. Disadvantages are that I don't think it's lethal and it can't counter much.

"Hm, competent answers. Try not to kill too many bugs, though, or you'll upset the balance of nature."

She looked at him with a serious face as she created two clones.

"Last two A-ranks. More details, more analysis... I'm not expecting much, but I also know you're better than this. You get what you give out of these training sessions."

"First one. Channel your Raiton chakra throughout your body and release it into your surroundings. Use shape manipulation to form a vortex of electrical currents around you like a tornado. It's like one of those long Chinese Dragons that wraps around you, as a visual reference point. This dragon can then shoot forward in front of you. Even if the opponent manages to dodge, the lightning can jump from the vortex and shock, giving it a nice area of effect property."

The first clone starts reading what appears to be... well, this is a family website, so Lol

"The final A-rank has you weaving the Rabbit, Rat, Horse, and Ram handseals. Slam your hand on the ground and release a ton of Raiton chakra into it. It will pool beneath my second clone's feet and erupt as a large column of electricity that decimates anything caught in it. You can control the size and height of the pillar, within reason, of course."

"You can even hit low flying targets if you get the timing right."

Description: After doing the Rabbit → Rat → Horse → Ram hand seals, the user will slam his hand on the ground and release into it a massive amounts of lightning chakra which will then pool beneath his opponent before releasing itself into a gigantic column of lightning which shocks anything caught above it. The technique can affect a bigger or smaller area depending on the users will.

I'll try. :T_T:

Kazuma gathers chakra and molds it, giving it the nature of lightning. He releases it so that it gathers around outside of his body. He Converts it into physical lightning which he shapes to create a vortex of electricity to revolve around himself. After that he further shapes it to create a dragon's head laying along the top of the vortex, trailed by a long snake like body coiling around to make up the rest of the vortex. He then sends the lightning dragon out to uncoil and fly in a slithering motion to completely ram into the poor innocent clone's stomach, sending her flying as she drops whatever she was holding.

Alright so you can use this like a quick shield without using handseals and then send it forward to attack. It has a big area of effect like you said and it is hard to avoid. The bad side it that it isn't a very quick attack and the user is pretty much staying in the same place. I can see myself using this one a lot.

After performing the said hand seals, Kazuma begins to mold raiton chakra so that it is sharp and energetic like lightning. He sends the chakra out into the ground and makes it gather underneat the surface directly below where another Aigis clone seems to be reading something intently. After gathering a very large amount of energy at the spot, Kazuma converts it into electricity and shapes it into a great pillar of energy three meters wide erupting from beneath and engulfing the clone. This column of energy also happens to catch quite a few insects in its eruption, vaporizing them. xd

This one is harder to defend against because you can't really intercept it until it is beneath you and even then you have to put attention down at the ground. This jutsu takes a moment to gather the chakra thought and I would suppose that the ground would glow from all the energy gathering under it. What would be a good counter to this? Would chidori stream on the ground work by just sending opposing energy against it?

"That's an excellent counter. Also realize that the ground glows as the Raiton pools underneath you, so be aware of that. The handseals give you a window of opportunity to try and anticipate a counter as well."

They were finally here. This was it.

"S-ranks. These are the pinnacle of Lightning release techniques... most of them are unlike you've ever seen, but rather, heard in the stories of famous shinobi in the past."

"The very first S-rank Raiton technique is powerful, fast, and all around, one of the best standard techniques in existence. After performing the Snake hand seal, you'll fire a lightning spear from either your hands or mouth. This has such high piercing potential, it can punch through any earth technique like nothing. It's incredibly fast and difficult to evade. In fact, you would need really strong wind techniques or equal ranked Raiton to even stop this."

"Destroy that huge boulder, pierce through it and break it apart."

Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake hand seal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

"You'll like this next one." she said.

Molding Katon chakra in her mouth and performing a single handseal, Aigis opened her mouth and applied shape manipulation to turn the fire building up in her mouth into dragon-shaped fireballs. Looking up towards to the sky, she spewed out these fireballs, which caused the otherwise clear skies to begin to get cloudy due to the extreme heat. The alteration of the local weather meant only one thing...

"This is one of the most powerful techniques in existence. If you manage to pull it off in a battle, it's almost considered an instant win."

"For this, so that we don't get fried, direct the Kirin towards that nearby hill over there, a safe distance from our own hill. But even at that distance, we'll feel the aftershocks. I fully expect the hill to be completely obliterated. A testament to its frightening power."

Aigis braced herself as she watched Kazuma.

Kazuma creates the snake hand seal and molds sharp and powerful raiton chakra which he gathers in his mouth. He faces the boulder and opens his mouth. Kazuma shapes the chakra to create a concentration of high energy in his mouth which he then extends out in a narrow spear of lightning towards the boulder who appears to be holding a boulder over his head which the boulder intends to throw at Kazuma. Kazuma aims the spear so that it pierces into the boulder being held up by the boulder and then separates into a myriad of forked lightning sprouting out of the boulder so that the boulder crumbles into many small rocks, the boulder collapsing above the boulder's head to fall down upon the boulder in a pile of debris made up of the boulder buried underneath the remnants of the boulder which settles down next to the large boulder that Aigis was actually trying to point out.

"It's a great attack and the opponent doesn't have much of a chance to do anything against it. Disadvantage is that it's really straightforward I suppose."

Kazuma listens to Aigis and then performs the hands seals for chidori. He gathers chakra using his spiritual and physical energies so that it flows to his hand. Kazuma molds raiton chakra with the sharp and powerful qualities of lightning and shapes it to create a mass of electricity and bright white energy gathered around his hand. Then Kazuma raises his hand and sends raiton chakra up into the dark clouds above which he uses to mix together with any potential energy for creating natural lighting, bringing it under his control. Meanwhile out on the distant hill, Mangetsu appears crawling up, having made a long journey back to continue his raiton training. Kazuma then shapes the natural lighting built up in the clouds to create a great dragon's head peaking down from the clouds. Kazuma quickly lowers his hand to guide the great dragon down from the clouds as a huge lightning strike, decimating the hill and sending Mangetsu blasting off again.

"So for this one first of all you would want to get to long range so that you have the maximum reaction time and so the opponent has limited jutsu choices. Second, you would want to do something like create a clone next to you. Then you would use a S rank katon or something so that the enemy has to spend a jutsu countering it and a small part of it would be for preparing kirin. Then the next turn you'd use a clone to protect you while you use chidori. Then you can just interrupt their last move with an instant kirin."

No matter how many times she saw the Kirin being performed, she could never get used to the sheer power it had. It was awe-inspiring. The entire area had been leveled...

"Fantastic. Next set. For the first one, you will form two Chidoris in your hands, one in each. Clap your hands together, and this burst of two energy sources will cause a massive thunderbolt that will be linearly directed at your target. Incredibly powerful and it can leave a massive crater from the impact of the jutsu. Unfortunately, using this in short range is impossible, lest you suffer friendly fire."

"One thing here. This jutsu is best done from high ground. So, walk over to the edge of this hill we're standing on, and fire the ThunderClap at the ground below us, at the trees below. I want you to observe its destructive capabilities."

Description: The user will cover his hands in with lightning, essentially performing a (Raiton: Chidori) Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds in each hand. Clapping his hands together, the user can unleash that massive amount of lightning chakra into the form of a powerful Thunderbolt directed at the target. The technique is best used if the user has a height advantage in relation to the target. The thunderbolt is strong enough to leave a giant crater and cannot be used while being in Short-range of the target, at the risk of being hit also.

"The second jutsu is the Raikiri. Kakashi Hatake's signature technique. It's legendary for its usage and feared for its strength. I shouldn't really have to explain it to you; other than the fact that it's a Chidori with more chakra control required, and higher strength and power in general."

"I want you to apply everything you've learned about description, chakra, lightning, and types of manipulation, as you form the Raikiri. Show me how far we've come."

Description: The Lightning Cutter is an enhanced and concentrated form of the Chidori with the same effects and drawbacks that is done performing the Ox → Rabbit → Monkey hand seals. According to Might Guy, it gained its name after Kakashi split a bolt of lightning with it. Because the Chidori is already powerful on its own, the Lightning Cutter requires better chakra control, which is exemplified in its appearance. The Chidori appears as simply a mass of white electrical chakra in the user's hand, while the Lightning Cutter is much more focused. Kakashi has shown different ways of forming and using the Lightning Cutter, unique to him. For example, he demonstrated the ability to imbue a projectile weapon, such as a kunai, with his Lightning Cutter, granting the technique long-range capabilities by throwing the kunai towards his target. In this instance, the kunai was capable of piercing through multiple large rocks with ease, without any loss of momentum or change in trajectory.

Kazuma steps over to the edge of the bluff and starts to mold and gather raiton chakra to his hands. He makes the chakra gather up in his hands until they are surrounded by a white glow along with arcs of electricity radiating away from the excess power. After so much power is built up that it gives off a loud chirping noise, Kazuma claps his chidori clad hands together and shapes the lightning to focus together and form one large bolt of lightning to strike down at couple that seem to be out mountain unicycling.

"This one is pretty quick and hard to react to but the chidori still gives the opponent a chance to counter it."

Kazuma performs the hand seals and molds raiton chakra, sharp and powerful like lightning. He makes it flow into his right hand and shapes it into a sort of sharp blade of concentrated electricity around his hand, exerting much more shape control to keep the blade focused. The energy is so compressed that instead of radiating out everywhere like chidori, raikiri seems to radiate electricity upwards like tongues of fire.

Then Kazuma meets his hands together and gathers raiton chakra in his left as well. He moves part of the raikiri so that it covers both of his hands like two raikiri merged together. After Kazuma gains control over maintaining part of it with his left hand, he splits his hands apart to create two raikiri with every distributed raiton chakra. He then lurches forward to swing his right hand in a horizontal cut to slice the sapling clean in half. After that Kazuma brings his left hand up and cuts down to split the remaining part of the young sapling in half vertically all the way to the ground.

"You can use it to block a raiton jutsu quickly. You can make a powerful attack once you are close and you can cut stuff up with it. If it's used for an attack it is easy to see coming and if the opponent can attack you before you close in then you can't even use it."

Another day, another completed student. Aigis reached the end of the scroll and smiled lightly.

"Kazuma, these final two techniques are Chidori variants. Simple and effective, but quite versatile nonetheless. For such moves, forming the chidori doesn't count as a move, so be aware of that."

"For this first one, form a chidori and point your palm forward; the one where you formed the Chidori. Release the chakra in a blast of lightning. The formation of the angle is enough to create a spreading attack that pushes forward. Fast and efficient; it can tear through any Earth technique, and serve as a lethal offensive attack."

"Hit those targets over there. The last ones I've got for you."

The last set of targets rested quietly, waiting for their inevitable demise.

Descripton: The user will channel lightning chakra into his hand, covering it with a massive chidori. The user will then point his palm forwards, unleashing that chakra, creating a massive 120º blast of lightning that spreads from his hand, outwards and forward towards the enemy.

Aigis created her final Shadow Clone for the training session. Clone and senpai looked at each other for a moment.

"Last, but certainly not least, the final Raiton technique I can teach you has you forming a Chidori and running up to your opponent-in case, my clone. Strike her, and once you do, apply your shape manipulation to extend your chidori into a long lightning spear that impales and pushes your opponent. The tip of the spear will explode, just to add more injury to injury."

Description:The user starts off by dashing at his opponent with a Chidori in his hand. As they strikes his opponent, they uses shape manipulation to extend the Chidori into a lightning spear that impales and hurtles the opponent into the air. The user then increases the potency of the lightning, generating a powerful electric explosion at the end of the spear and sending the enemy back to the ground.
Note: Only the spear extention can reach up to mid range.

"Come on, you're gonna make me cry."

Kazuma molds sharp and powerful raiton chakra, flowing it to gather in his hand. He holds his hand out with his palm facing away. He shapes the raiton chakra into lightning radiating out from his hand forward with many bolts of lightning spread out to cover a large forward arc. The lightning shreds through the targets easily and quickly.

"So for this one it's fast and only requires one hand. It can't be dodged so easily either. It's a streaming type but that doesn't matter so much for this. It's a simple attack and if the opponent survives it then they have an opening."

After giving the clone a friendly smile, Kazuma suddenly breaks his posture to make a swift dash forward at her. Kazuma molds raiton chakra and gathers it in his hand. He shapes it into an excess of electrical energy gathered around his hand to create a chidori. Once he reaches the clone, Kazuma slams his chidori clad palm forward into the clone's stomach. He then shapes the chidori to extend in a spear of dense energy to stab through the clone and lift her up into the air impaled by the blade. Kazuma then puts even more power into the end of the lightning spear so that it becomes unstable and explodes at the place where the clone is held up.

"This one is good to use if you have a chance to run up to the opponent. The only problem is that it's an easy move to interrupt since you have to get to them to use it."

 

[Souji]

"You, crying? That would be quite a sight, Kazuma-kun. You don't seem like the type at all."

"But in any case, if you have no further questions, we have 'completed' lightning. You now have the choice of specializing in this element if you so desire."

"Remember what you've learned about its properties and capabilities. Use this power wisely."

She gave a smile to her student. It was always fascinating watching the young ones grow up.

 

[Nebula]

"Thank you for teaching me raiton. It was fun."

And so with that Kazuma disappears, leaving behind a few leaves floating in the air using the body flicker technique and wanders off into the forest in search of noobs to spam his new S-Ranks on without mercy.
