How Sakura could ACTUALLY improve?

So many people compare Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura to the Sannin, not strength wise but for there respective roles and skills (sakura a medic, Sasuke a missing nin, etc.). Also alot of people on this site think that she is fairly useless (I must admit I am inclined to agree, although she is a very good medic). So I ask the masses how could kishi actually improve, her? Skill wise, character wise take your pick.

My 2 cents: She should learn water nature ninjutsu, than she would be an uber. I mean imagine her jutsu's; Water Style: River of Tears, now that would be a big F**king river (haha sorry had to do it).

To be realistic the only actually feasible thing for her to gain is genjutsu. It's been stated since the beginning of the manga that she was a genjutsu-type (or at least could excel as a genjutsu-type) by Kakashi.

She could, at the very least, be as good as Kurenai.

-Proficiency in genjutsu
-Medical jutsu
-Super strength

Yep, not bad


I hoped since the beginning of Part 2 that Kurenai would eventually recover from giving birth and return to train Sakura. But seeing as it's already nearing the end of the war I don't know how that's going to happen. Unless there is another arc which seems unlikely

i remember someone saying that she could actually become a great genjutsu user could be wrong.

I think I remember Kakashi saying that a long long time ago but it would still be useless cuz after I've seen the kind of genjutsu the Sharingan can do, everything else just wont do. Heck, it made Asuma's chick (a genjutsu user, supposedly the best in Konoha without the Sharingan) seem like crap!

She needs to learn to use her medical skills in a fight like Kabuto (chakra scalpels) and Shizune (poison gas) or even learn more about poisons in general

She Needs to learn Genjutsu... and basically break out of the damsel in distress role that shes filled the whole time...
water ninjutsu would be cool... she doesnt even know her own proficiency...

I think Katsuyu would be a huge step, and advancing were here medical nin.
But I think the real question is, with Jiraiya and Oro dead, when will Tsunade take her leave from the anime?
Should be coming soon, what with Naruto wanting to become hokage and now being strong enough (easily) to take charge. Only thing would be to get more brains xD

I think , Tsunade (or an other sensei ) can help sakura to be a great genjutsu user.

some time ago she would have been useful if she became a genjutsu user but now if she was she was a genjutsu user she would have still been useless.

I think it's kinda too late for Sakura to be any use on the battlefield. She should just stick to being helpful on the sidelines. :]

No it didn't. Kurenai was able to counter Itachi's genjutsu counter.
There's absolutely nothing crappy about Kurenai.

shes a genjutsu type... and medical ninjutsu uses chakra to accelerate cell regeneration etc. , if she can do the opposite then she may become low jounin
