How old are/wer Kushina and Minato?

Ok, maybe I havent thought it through properly or my logic fails (you can call me stupid )but you say that Minato died at 22 because he was 10 when he graduated and got his master immediately(and I dont doubt this) but that was 24 years before the beginning of the series because minato died at 22 and he was 10 when he graduated and that was 24 yrs before the start of the series. Isnt it a circle with no end ?

Timeline:

Start of series - Naruto is 12 years old. Minato has been dead for 12 years. So Minato is older than 22 at this point if he were still alive. At this point, he would be 34-36 according to Ryuu.

Tobi attacks village - 12 years before start of series. Minato was 22 and died. Naruto was 0.

Minato graduating - 24 years before start of series but 12 years before Minato died. Minato was 10.

But I'm still not sure if Minato was 22 or 24. ;/

I'm pretty certain Minato was in this twenties when he died but that's it. I hope Ryuu's thread will make it clearer. =)

I remember when the feudal lords were choosing the 6th hokage candidate and they said kakash is tooo young but he's the same age as when minato assumed the office so he's 27-31 xd

28 yrs before the start of the series, Jiraiya was 22. When he started to train Minato, he was 26, and Minato was 10. About 13-14 yrs before the start of the series, Minato fights in the war = 21. He is appointed hokage at 21. 12 years before series start (1 yr after he is appointed) minato dies at about 22.

I could be wrong but this is my take on it, and actually, i'm about to do some serious further research.

Do you mean third shinobi war here? I'm pretty sure the second shinobi war was at least 8 years before the third and Minato was made Hokage after the third.

guys minato was in charge of his jonin team at the age of 18-20 okay?

kakashi now was recently appointed jonin at 13? k

now the kyubbi attack happen 6/7 years after the events of kakashi gaiden

that puts kakashi into the age of 19/20

now that tells you minato died around the kyubbi attack around the age of 24-28.

naruto is now 16/17 years old now. minato is older than nagato btw
