He could have grabbed Naruto, Kamui'd away the bone approaching Kakashi, and then went to Kamuiland with Naruto. It would have worked since Kamui has double the speed now, and he was able to get out the way of Madara's godoudama, I see it as the same thing.

Yep, I guess he was able to do this, but he wanted to die... He has to die either way. Though it's cool that he protected Naruto and Kakashi protected Sasuke, they're like parallels lol. Anyway, it could be a plot hole that he must focus something with his eye to send it to the kamui dimension, and since he can't look at Kakashi and his bone at the same time, he saved Kakashi... idk lol.
