Its come to my attention that its manga fact that madara transplanted his eyes into Nagato. So where did madara get his eyes after that considering the uchiha massacre hadnt happened yet? And how was Obito able to cast a controlling genjutsu on yagura?
The answer: kagame uchiha. Madara killed him and took his eyes. Then madara gave his right eye to Obito when his left was given to kakashi. Kagami uchiha is rumored to be shisui's father and could possibly be obito's. Kagami's eyes have kotoamatsuki or an equal level genjutsu in them which is how Obito who had his Sharingan in his left eye was able to to control yagura, minato, and sasuke until he used izanagi on it rendering it useless although it served its purpose.
Notice I said he used it on minato and Sasuke. Wtf you might think. Dis mofo smokin' dat bayleef again!!! you might exclaim. Here's why I believe that. Minato could've killed Obito but they made eye contact. Keep that in mind. Instead minato sacrificed himself and his wife to put kyuubi in his son when he could so easily kill Obito and end the job there. Why didn't he? Because Obito used kagami's eye when they made eye contact to control minatk and make him kill himself to nullify the threat minato posed to his plan by putting the kyuubi in a weaker and less ninjutsu adept child, naruto, whom Obito thought he could easily handle in the future when the time was right.
As for Sasuke he used it after Sasuke survived itachi fighting him. There he controlled Sasuke by making him want to destroy the leaf village even though that's the place his brother died to protect. It would illogical for Sasuke to go and destroy it if he truly loved his brother and wanted to carry on his will. Nevertheless Sasuke was used as Obito's pawn to kill danzo and help gather bijuu. Only when Obito lost the eye to izanagi did Sasuke come to his senses. Possibly once the eye is destroyed the effect wears off.
