i dont see sauske going to jail but IMO he either deserves to die by narutos hand or not go to jail or die at all...

Gaara is a different example because he ACTUALLY changed and is trying to stay on his path of being a good person...and a great leader.

Sauske is the type of person to align to anyone who claims to help sauske out in return (i.e orochi, akatsuki) he is emotionally unstable and i honestly dont think he will be completely good OR bad...he is a TRUE neutral character

here are some unlikely yet interesting punishments that do not involve execution or jail time...

A: crush his sharingan and rinnegan and give him normal eyes (This way his powers are reduced greatly and if he ever held a grudge and tried to seek revenge.. naruto or someone else would deal with him)

B:Forbid the act of sauske reviving his clan. he CANNOT reproduce and will have to die as the LAST uchiha (thats a punishment that would destroy sauske even more than death)
