How much of a difference in strength does having another tail contribute?

Now it's very clear how much stronger the Juubi is from the Kyuubi, but really how much power contributes from each tail? We saw half of Kurana's power matching that of the 2-7 tails, and still had plenty of chakra to win that battle. Could it really just be simple as it seems? Is Kurama and them just 1+2+3 ect.?

A second question is this half Kurama in Naruto and Minato still stronger than 8 tails?

I think more tails = more chakra, but that doesn't mean that more tails = stronger.

3 tail 3x stronger than 2 tail

9 tails was the sages favourite that is why it is so much stronger. 8 tails is only slightly stronger than the others. Juubi beats all the tailed beasts including 9 tails because it is the combination of all bijuu
