1- Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball) : 1 483 000 000 Yens (11 251 069 €) – Its expected though and I already predicted it.. ahahah

2- Kazuki Takahashi (Yu-Gi-Oh!) : 510 000 000 Yens (3 869 351 €) – Can’t believe it, but the one thing that made me realize is that Yu-Gi-Oh is popular not only in the anime but also it’s toys!! Well Obviously that includes the CARDS games.

3- Fujiko Fujio (Doraemon) : 456 000 000 Yens (3 456 640 €) – Woah!! My favorite anime in my childhood days I didn’t expect it would be the 3rd Richest.. LOLZ

4- Hiroshi Arakawa (Full Metal Alchemist) : 450 000 000 Yens (3 411 158 €) – Nice!

5- Machiko Hasegawa (Saze-san) : 447 000 000 Yens (3 388 417 €) – What the hell is this manga? I don’t even recognize it but it placed 5th? LOLZ!

6- Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto) : 374 000 000 Yens (2 835 051 €) – WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! very disapointing.. I thought it would placed to 2nd or 3rd but its 6th.. ahahaha

7- Konomi Takeshi (Prince of Tennis) : 347 000 000 Yens (2 630 382 €) – Good…

8- Echiiro Oda (One Piece) : 333 000 000 Yens (2 524 257 €) – WHAAAAAAAt?? I thought that Oda would be the richest but he placed 8th?? DAMN!! ahahah

9- Takashi Yanase (Soreike! Anpanman) : 270 000 000 Yens (2 046 694 €) – Whatever!

10- Takehiko Inoue (Slam Dunk) : 200 700 000 Yens (1 521 376 €) – The best sports manga in JUMP!! It would be great if it placed 5-7th.. ehehe

Well that’s it……
HMMMM….That’s odd..
Where the hell is Tite Kubo(Bleach)??….. well whatever!! ahaha

very outdated list from 2010
actually scrap that , it's the same list as one used in 2004-2005 lol

He's still losing on millions from America sooo.

Are you kidding? Naruto is still popular in America internet wise. Naruto channels on YouTube average at 800,000 views, fan-made games get attention from a few million people, forums are still populated, reviews, fan-animations, cosplays, discussions, the games, the movies, are all still actively discussed overall.

My only point was that he was not making as much money as he should be. Not sure why you two are so upset about this.
doesn't matter hes still making more than youll ever make in 3 life times in one year.
What's your point?

That much of money do not go directly to Kishi, it go to that weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
Firstly, Kishi had to submit his manga to SJ, and he was happy that SJ accepted his manga.
Once SJ approved and put into the magazine, the rights belong to SJ.
Kishi will receive some % as royalty. This is between SJ and Kishi agreement.
SJ is the manager and they had to protect their patent (Naruto) by means of copyrights (certain country had different method).
Kishi is still the owner of this Naruto manga.
Owner, patent, manager, copyrights - only lawyers can explain these wording.

That list is also 3-4 years old.

One piece wasn't at its peak being the Marineford Arc, nor was Strong World and Z out yet which are some of the biggest movies of all time in Japan.
Oh I see....I didn't get into OP until it was around the time skip or so.

Yeah OP got hit pretty hard in the US cause of the 4 kids dub, and not having a dub for a long time in the US, but the rest of the world, like Europe and Asia, sales are through the roof for OP.

I think Kishi gets a lot of its sales through its awesome video games, but manga wise, it isn't popular overall. OP has the opposite effect.

As for Dragonball, since the manga has ended so many years ago, it's basing all of its current money on video games, and now the new movies.
