Nope animators get payed horrible.
They have constant stress 24/7 some even taking their live's.
Just because the anime you're watching is famous that has beautiful animation/art is good doesn't mean the animators are living the life.
It's somewhat comparable with shoes, Jordans are selling for almost $200 looking clean as hell but the people who make them are suffering from health issues dealing with the materials and getting paid nothing.

Thats only in Japan , i read the article, in general they get paid 4000$-7000$ A month , i found out in a reliable website
