After the death of itachi, tobi commanded nagato to attack the hidden leaf village. So no one from akatushi dared to enter /attack the village when itachi was alive not even Tobi or nagato. Thats the impact of kItachi on akatushi. I think he might stand equal chance to Tobi (without Rinnegan) or Nagato.

itachi wins high diff being that he figured out nagatos jutsu within seconds withought even breaking a sweat. however, i do think the fight could go either way seeing nagato's vast arsenal of op jutsus and itachi's great analyzing skillset and power

Dude stop, itachi needed help to destroy CT. Without bee and naruto he would have been crushed by it. :sy: Also if itachi fought nagato one on one he would of been in the same position that naruto or bee was in. Only reason why he even managed to land a hit is becouse nagato was busy taking on two top tier ninja. And oh btw, nagato could not even WALK. That is the only reason he got hit by the blade. A healthy nagato that can walk is way to powerful for itachi. KISHI put all three of them together to prove that. Itachi has absolutely no counter for CT. Itachi is bad ass and all but no match for a Rinnengan user.

To me that has always been a dream fight and i was so happy to see that it kind of happened . Itachi does have what it takes to beat Nagato, his strongest tools in the fight are:
-his advanced shuriken and kunai techniques that he used to cancel the shared sight of Nagato's summons
-obviosly his tsukuyomi
-and his ultimate weapon (in my opinion) is his susanoo's Sword of Tatsuka allowing one sucessful strike to seal his opponent permanently inside

Itachi defineately has what it takes to defeat Nagato without Naruto and Bee's help because they did defeat Nagato :shrug:

what you're saying is mere speculation he knows its weakness, who's to say he wouldn't stop it? also, your forgetting itachi is very strong with amateratsu, totsuka, and tsukuyomi among others. can you tell me how nagato will counter tsukuyomi? u cant because there isn't enough evidence therefore evrything we say is subjective. im simply stating an opinion, and although i belive them to be an equal match i simply think itachi is slightly stronger though it coulg go either way

In my opinion, Itachi has a 35% chance.

Against the 6pop, he has a 20% chance since his Tsukyomi is made obsolete since the paths can't feel the torture. The 20% would come from strategies he could cook up in combination with his Totsuka Blade. It will be troublesome though since this time, the 6pop and the summons will all be focusing and coordinating their attacks against 1 Itachi alone. Distractions could be made though. The paths would also be in seperate bodies which means that he can take care of the most troublesome paths first (Naraka Path, Preta Path, Deva Path). Naraka Path to stop the ressurection of the fallen paths. Preta Path to prevent his chakra based attacks from being absorbed. Deva Path to make sure he could remain safe in his Susanoo and concentrate. This alone will be hard to do while he's being pulled or pushed out of his Susanoo while the others attack at once.



Against Nagato, the part that is harder would be the fact that the paths aren't seperate but are now in one body. That means that he would face all six paths no matter what. No way of getting rid of the most troublesome ones. The advantage though is that genjutsu will now effective. By that, Tsukyomi. Tsukyomi would be hard to use if Nagato is at a large distance. Could be flying in the air with his bird summons while he lets the other summons cause a ruckus. The summons could be disposed of with Totsuka Blade though since they haven't shown any feat of being able to simply dodge it. As for the bird, Amaterasu. Though as soon as the bird gets disposed of, Nagato could levitate in the air instead of falling down. Totsuka won't reach him if it can't extend and Tsukyomi wouldn't take effect since he's too far to make eye contact himself.


Either way, Itachi will always have a chance as long as he has attacks that would work on Nagato. Any scenario could take place in a battle so it isn't good to simply base the coming outcomes of a battle by simply looking at a previous one.

In fair 1v1 both full healted nagato wins 10 fights by 10, It's unfair to always quote "itachi sealed nagato" and even say that without saying all the facts! nagato had crippled legs, and he resisted movement when totsuka came, he could of dodged it quite easily.. totsuka sealing was just one of major plots that happened to nagato.. even chapters name was "stop nagato" not "itachi is unbeatable god who seals everybody with totsuka" face the facts and then talk.. i'd say nagato wins low to midd difficulty. :worshippy::y

he was saying that out of respect towards his master, go read the manga. and he didnt say he would have lose he said he might have lost. which is highly unlikley considering how once all six came out he could do absolutley nothing and got destroyed. And no he could not stop CT on his own. its more like 10 percent chance

Yes i can, because if Bee and Naruto didn't help Itachi then they would have died and Itachi would have been captured. Itachi can't beat Nagato by himself.
