Tsukuyomi probably wouldn't even work against Nagato, he has the Rinnegan, the most advanced eye jutsu and an evolution of the Sharingan. Nagato would be able to break the genjutsu.
And Itachi had two jinchuriki helping him out, and they all used their strongest attacks at once. Plus, Nagato wanted them to win, as I recall. Kabuto was in control, but Nagato still wanted to lose and Kabuto wouldn't be able to control Nagato's powers near as well as Nagato.
Itachi loses through sheer chakra exhaustion of trying to maintain Susano'o. If he doesn't beat him outright, Nagato would just plain outlast Itachi in a fight.
Also, Gedo Mazo. That'd ruin Itachi's day.

Honestly toswaka blade hasn't hit any moving target it's speed feats Dnt impress me honestly think about it Thts the reason why he Dnt use it a lot think bout it it hit a collosil hydra (if u miss tht u suck lml) and a crippled mind controlled nagato

They are quite equals in my opinion. Nagato does have more power, but there are other things that are important in a battle.

And Itachi has lower chance but still some chance.......however. Nagato is a long rang fighter and Itachi genjutsu is short. 3 tomoe sharingan breaks tsukyomi and Rinnegan is levels above that. Shinra tensie avoids Amaterasu and he can even absorb Itachi ninjutsu. Also chibaku tensie ends the fight as Itachi needed bee and km naruto to fire their most powerful attacks to break it along with his.

Pain wins but Itachi with his intel could win maybe 3 out of 10 times.

I would say that Itachi wins 2/3 out of 10

Nagato has more variety of jutsu than Itachi, and he is haxed.
Itachi's experiance and skill might make it a tough battle, but in the end Nagato has more chakra and stamina to keep on going; Itachi can't spam amaterasu, he'll go blind during battle. Nagato also has the Gedo Mazu on his side.

I've always thought Nagato=Itachi. Nagato was more hype than what he delivered and Itachi was more impressive than his hype in their respective final battles, but then someone pointed out that Izanagi/Izanami, and that has thrown me to the Itachi > Nagato side. But I don't see Nagato as >>>> Itachi easily and all the time. Both are actually ridiculously haxxed. Just that Nagato's haxx had the biggest hype around it in the actual manga. Nagato can beat Itachi more casually because he has more chakra, but Totsuka sword doesn't take much and it CAN seal Nagato, especially if Itachi uses his wits and his kage bunshins and other techniques well to give himself the same advantages he had when he fought Nagato with Naruto & Bee.

Also, I don't think 3 tomoe does beat Tsukuyomi. Itachi was going easy on Sasuke, so I do think he let Sasuke deflect/survive/break out of that one. What would Itachi gain from completely crippling Sasuke into a coma again when he's at the verge of death. He needed Sasuke to "win" that fight.

Withough Izanami, I'd say 40%, and with Izanami 50%. We do not know yet how the Rinnengan reacts with genjutsu, but I don't think it makes the user invulnerabe, at least not totally. Except for that, it highly depends on the range they are standing from each other. At long range, Nagato wins by 90%. At mid range and close range, Itachi has a hich advantage, that balances things a bit, the totsuga sword. Also, I belive Susano can defend (a little) against shinra and tsubaku, and I would not recomend Nagato to go close to Susano and try to absorb it with Preta path, as it would only get him closer to the totsuga sword's edge... So, IMO it's 50-50...
