Im confused when kakashi did a shadow clone against pain he said it took half of his chakra . But doesn't it meant if that naruto did a 100 clones he would have 1/100 of chakra left or its a different standard for everyone . Ex :Naruto shadow clone takes 1/64 of his chakra instead of half.

Alot from others. But from Naruto not much because he's been making about 100 since he was a kid

Kakashi used a lightning style shadow clone in his fight with pain, Hence why it took so much chakra. It takes enough chakra for Kakashi to make a few shadow clones but to infuse them with the Lightning Blade takes way more than it probably should but meh...

Your chakra is divided evenly i think so if you made one Kage Bunshin youd have half your chakra if you made 3 you would have quarter something like that

imo that only goes for people with Normal chakra reserve

people with immense chakra level like Naruto, their chakra dont get halfed by making a shadow clone

this is how i think it goes
1 shadow clone=1/2 chakra
5 shadow clones=1/5 chakra
10 shadow clones=1/10 chakra
so on and so forth

when the clone is dispersed or dies, the chakra goes back to the user. Just thought i'd throw that out there

ughhh..Similar to the Clone Technique, this technique creates clones of the user. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. This is why it is a forbidden technique because if a novice uses it and exhausts their chakra they die.

As previously stated Kakashi used lightening clones when battling the paths of pain, and infusing them with elemental chakra used more chakra plus his Kamui nearly tapped out his reserves.

when the clone is dispersed or dies, the chakra goes back to the user. Just thought i'd throw that out there
Dont think so... unless your talking about sage chakra or elemental chakra.

If you're using something else as a medium for your shadow clone , less chakra ,but never actually specified

by medium I mean, Sand clone, Crow clone, Wood clone , Water clone
