How many times can you be brought back?

This thought just hit me.... Can you be brought back from the dead more than once? I mean all these guys were brought back by Kabuto... What's stopping him from just ressurecting them all back? Is there a certain amount times he can do it? Kabuto told Madara there was do risk so what's stopping him from doing that? What do you guys think? Give me your opinions please. If this thread has already be brought up I'm sorry but please don't say anything mean you guys. Thanks

What is the name of the technique Kabuto used to bring them back? I just can't remember the name....

it´s impure world ressurection (edo tensei) and i think if it´s sealed somehow than it can´t be summoned again, no matter what seal i think

And if the soul is at peace / moved on then they cant be summoned/ re-summoned. I don't think there is a limit though, but who knows Kabuto is a snakey bastard.

once they're brought back, they cannot be brought back again, as they would wither be
A) at peace
B) sealed beyond the pure world (where Kabuto cannot summon them from)

but if he were to release them, and then re-summon them, that would probably work (though it would have no purpose)

Well once revived by edo tensei you can "die" by being sealed or if you're at peace... about the sealed guys... that's it for them, about the other ones... don't know but i doubt you can resummon them...
So i guess you can only be revived once?

The limit isn't in number, but in other ways.

Such as when Old Man Third sealed the First and Second Hokage in the Death Reaper Seal. In a case such as that, souls can not be brought back, Kabuto said this himself. Also, if the soul is put into peace while resurrected such as Sai's brother, he can not be brought back.

But if Kabuto was to just stop the jutsu he would be able to bring back the people, but he would also be required to get DNA again from each person, and a sacrifice.

My question is, how can Kabuto use edo tensei to be back anyone with their Dna. What i mean is, if having your soul at rest can break edo tensei , what if someone dies at peace, would that mean then they couldn't be summoned in the first place. Just wondering if anyone else thought about this.

Well if there was no limit it would be an overpowered technique.

Either once the soul is released or at peace it cannot be brought back.
Same with it being sealed.
As well as it being immobilized. (Haku and Zabuza were immobilized and weren't able to move so they couldn't be used)


So I think that Edo Tensei can only bring the person back once, after that it's either the soul is sealed or immobilized.

almost correct.

if kabuto ends the jutsu he can re summon them. I'm now thinking about when kabuto faced madara for the first time and summond the 5 akatsuki members.
not to forget when he and summond deidara went to the turtle island to capture yamato. when kabuto retreated from that batle he also ended the jutsu on deidara (cofin reappeard and deidara was traped by it => jutsu end) later on at the start of the war deidara was brought back again. so I don't think he has to get the dna again.
only the first time, to bind the soul to the impure world, only at that time you need a living sacrefice and the dna of the target. once that "ritual" is over the binded souls are stored somewhere until they are summond to the battlefield by the user that bound them in the first place.
