OT: actually being serious, he may only have one soul (disregarding tailed beasts for now) Reincarnation is a strange subject matter (which I don't claim to always understand sometimes) but if Kishimoto is drawing inspiration from Buddhist beliefs (which he often does) than Naruto's soul and Ashura's soul are one and the same.
