How many shadow clones can naruto make?

okay im watching the anime and don't really feel like reading the manga but for those who've already read the manga i heard when he gets into tailed beast mode he can use multi clone jutsu for sage mode and nine tails chakra mode i this true? does this mean he can make hundreds of clones in sage mode, nine tails chakra mode AND still be in tailed beast mode and still turn into a giant kurama made of chakra?

if so then thats just overkill (kishi has given waaaaay to much power)

In regular mode it was said to be able to produce either 100 or 1,000 clones....though they aren't durable.

In Sage mode Naruto can create up to three clones (though Maybee five considering he had two sit back to collect natural energy)

Kurama mode Naruto made somewhere around 14 clones to send to the various battlefronts.

Oh yes thousands. Unfortunately the clones are so tiny you can't see them, so they have to run across the battlefield at such speeds that it's irrelevant. You'll see in the anime soon.
