You have to click the
You must be registered for see images
under Vs. Thread to make one. Anyone of Rank (Post or Kumiu) can make a thread.

Before you make one. What Vs. Thread would you like to make?

Why in the world would you want to make a hideous versus thread. 9 times out of 10 the thread has ALREADY been done before ad nauseum.

When you make a Vs. Thread you can find the voting in two places:

1. When you first click the "New Thread" Button you would see at the bottom of section Additional Options, under that: Miscellaneous Options, Thread Subscription, Post a Poll.

2. If you still have trouble making the thread, After making the Thread, where you see at the top, maybe, "Thread Tools" Tab, is where you can add a poll.

I think that the second option will work because i don't have any Miscellaneous Options

It is not needed as you only are looking for the "Post A Poll" Option. When you see that section, you click the box checking: ([ ] Yes, post a poll with this thread)

Post a Poll

[ ] Yes, post a poll with this thread
Number of poll options: _____ (Maximum: 40)

Once finish with your Thread and clicking the Box^^, you would be redirected to a Poll Page of the Thread where you can set or write what you want. You would then summit and everything would be as you have it or want it.

Just a little info. Kumi doesn't mean anything nor does it hinder you if you don't have a certain amount. Kumi is imaginary and is only used for GFX shops and some people use it for rp but only to add a little excitement to the battle.
Threads can only be stickied by mods/admins.

You don't need any specific amount of posts or kumi to post in the VS threads section.

To make a poll there are two ways:

1) When making the thread, just scroll down below your text box. You will see that there's an option for adding a poll, just enable it. When you then post your thread, you will be automatically directed to the screen for making the poll.

2) Just make the thread and then go to thread tools which is right above your post and click on "add a poll to the thread", which will bring you once again to the poll screen.

I don't know what you mean with sticky, however only mods can sticky threads and we only do that with threads that are important/useful in a way. Sticky threads remain at the top of the section they're in, no matter what happens, so that they not will be forgotten. In the VS threads section there's only one stickied thread and that's with the guidelines for VS threads.

Because it's a latin term which is used just like that in English and other languages, similar to things like et cetera, ad fundum, post scriptum...

It means that you've heard a certain argument/discussion so many times, you're not even going to react on it anymore as you're sick of it. With a little imagination you can recognize the English word 'nauseous' in it. In this context it just means that most VS combinations have already been discussed over and over again that it would just make you sick doing it again.

Ad nauseam is a Latin term used to describe an argument which has been continuing "to [the point of] nausea". For example, the sentence, "This topic has been discussed ad nauseam", signifies that the topic in question has been discussed extensively, and that those involved in the discussion have grown tired of it.

This term is defined by the American Heritage Dictionary as:

Argumentum ad nauseam or argument from repetition or argumentum ad infinitum is an argument made repeatedly (possibly by different people) until nobody cares to discuss it any more. This may sometimes, but not always, be a form of proof by assertion

Post Scriptum: -Severus Snape-, though I appreciate the rep, it was not necessary, as Caliburn explained it first. I simply elaborated on his topic. But since you did, thank you.

Yeah okay thanks..new info for me..and just for the record I'd say I haven't heard that term ever before, and I have heard "etc = et cetera" hundreds of times ..but every day you learn something new I guess. But I still think people shouldn't use terms like that, which aren't in common use.
