How many people actually believe Kakashi beat Obito fair and square?

I do. Both without kamui and Kakashi is the better ninja
Always have been.

He's so underrated on this forum it's sickening. He recieves compliments on his skills as a ninja from almost all the top ranked characters and can hold his own against most of them.

When someone like Nagato tells you you're too strong to be alive you could become a problem later it should be recognized.

It was a fight. The one who fights fair and square is the one who dies. There is no honor in a fight to the death

Agreed. Act high and mighty now Obito. If it wasn't for 10 tails you would have been dead with a hole in your chest by Kakashi.

of course it was, there is nothing unfair about a 1v1, Kakashi won simple as that

he isn't superior though and that fight shouldn't be used to say he is.

This would have finished Obito right then and there.

This would have finished kakashi right then & there so your point is invalid.

OT: Kakashi had help from naruto, he did not beat obito with the power that he owns. If we were to give them their full chakra & powers then obito > kakashi no contest. Kakashi obviously won but he didnt do it on his own. U_U

Kakashi beat obito because they were in a situation where they had to rely on the fundamentals, a situation that suited Kakashi ; as he if far superior to obito is that category.

There was no tricks, nor was it an uneven battle from the minute they both went into the dimension together.

it was a fair fight this is ninja we're talking about they fight in unfair situations. its obitos fault for relying to much on kamui he accidentally handicapped himself because he isnt good at hand to hand combat all he did through out the whole manga was kamui, kamui and kamui so his lack of taijutsu wasnt on kakashis level who is a very well rounded ninja

whoever says or believe that it was a fair fight, not the lamest pnj,by saying that obito can't beat kakashi without kamui, should kill themselves.
Read his past, then realise that kakashi is alive only because he got his butt saved twice by obito and thrice if u include obito leaving him alive, and then come here and say the same.

It was made clear that Kakashi is a much more skilled ninja than Obito.

He only beat him because they were in the kamui dimension but he beat him nonetheless.

Kakashi won only due to his invisible plot shield.

Kakashi won only due to his invisible plot shield.

How was it plot shield? Obito had no Kamui and had to rely on the basics, Kakashi as a sensei would obviously be effective in that field. There's no such thing as a fair fight when it comes to ninja's if you lose you lose.IRL when you lose to a ninja you don't get a second chance.

How was it plot shield?

It simply shows that Obito didn't train during the 16 year gap. He thought of himself invincible due to his haxxed Kamui/DNA and got smashed as a result.

The plot was that Obito was weakened and Kakashi's chakra reserves were restored by Sakura. The plot was that they fought on an area where Obito couldn't use his strongest technique.

Which Obito are we talking about? The one we've actually seen in the manga, with limited, low scale Mokuton, and only several Rinnegan techniques, all of which are for support, none for offense? Or the fan-fiction version that has Mokuton on Hashirama and Madara's level, and can use all the Rinnegan abilities (despite only having one eye) on par with Nagato?

If we're talking about the former, Kakashi has a legitimate shot. His physical capabilities are on par with Obito's, if not outright superior (speed, reflexes, Taijutsu). Their ninjutsu is on par, albeit Kakashi has more versatility. Hitting Obito will be an issue due to phasing, but considering Kakashi can just warp a shadow clone to camp in the Kamui dimension, that option can be potentially nullified. This is, of course, assuming Obito does not have access to the Bijuu that were handed to him on a silver platter (i.e. the accumulated effort of many Akatsuki members) nor the Edo Tensei Jinchuuriki that Kabuto gifted him.

Oh, and for people who continuously refer to "Kakashi getting help," . . . Kakashi started fighting an entire day before Obito even entered the war. He joined Naruto and Bee on Obito's battlefield after a full day of fighting Edo Tensei swordsmen. He was further worn down fighting V2 Jinchuuriki that Kabuto gave to Obito. He then wasted even more chakra directly fighting the ten tails, not Obito himself. Him having his chakra replenished only makes up for the energy he spent on efforts that were not a legitimate part of Obito's power. Obviously, Obito has more chakra than Kakashi but Kakashi's chakra replenishments are nowhere near as "unfair" as people are implying they were. In a one-on-one fight, it probably wouldn't even come down to who has more stamina.

If we're talking about the latter, Obito easily takes it with village sized Shinra Tenseis and a mile-long Mokuton forest.
