Just started watching One Piece a week ago and I'm up to episode 31. I know I'm progressing at a snail's pace but I just like to enjoy it at my own pace considering I have other commitments besides watching anime. Let's just get straight to the point:

Who else cried when Sanji said goodbye to Zeff and his crew of chefs?

That scene was ****ing tear-jerking to me. The way everyone played the actor's game and tried to pretend they don't want Sanji there was quite weird and emotionless (and somewhat funny). However, when they revealed their true emotions towards Zanji, that's when something hit me hard right in the feels.

What makes this scene so emotional is Zeff and Zanji's backstory. The struggles that they've experienced together and the goals that they share is what makes their bond very rigid. It's just sad to see these two men saying goodbyes to each other and it was very nice to see Zeff & his crew wanting Sanji to join the SHs, in order to fulfil his goal of finding the All Blue.

To top it all off, Zeff said "Men should just leave without saying a word." Man, those words hold so much truth. If you didn't cry or show any signs of sympathy, I'm not even sure if you're human Lol

none I dont ever cry over anime
You must have a sad life if you need to get kicks out of spoiling people, you're pathetic

OT: don't come in or read replies in this section if you don't wanna get spoiled, some people are just pieces of sh?. like that because they are sad idiots who have nothing better to do with their lives, but beside that even avatars or signatures can spoil

Well to his defense, he did put it under a "spoiler" tag so it's ok I guess. A little warning would've been nice though :)

OT: A year's worth of boxes :)
The tag isn't enough actually, since people put anything in those tags. I opened it up expecting something like "Sike, it's One Piece", he should have included "major spoilers" here.

Oh if you're shedding manly tears here, wait til you see the stories of Nami or other characters in the future. Sanji's departure was emotional and manly with many truths but it was in the Arlong Park that I really felt for the characters to where I came really close to shedding a tear. Oda does so well to make a reader sympathize with these characters and you can't help but fall in love with some of the characters. It's the way DBZ made me feel when I rewatched it when I got older or when Kishi used to write his characters better than he does now.

So yeah homie, you're gonna need a few boxes.

Dude.. you better buy a whole truck load if this is what it took you to cry... Sanjis good bye is absolutely NOTHING in comparison to what comes later.

One Piece just builds and builds, becoming more and more ridicoules AND more and more emotional.. just you wait mate.. just you wait.. you are in for one hell of a ride.

Do not click here, we don't want spoilers but..
Namis story.
Choppers story, Doctor NOOO!
Usopp and Luffy water seven.
Robins story and I want to life
MEEEERRRYYYYYYY!
Brook and Laboons story
Big sepperation, NOOOO!
Bon bon darling! NOOOOOOO!
ACE! I broke! NO!
Dressrosa arch, Kyros story, OH GOD WHY!

And that's just what I can think up right now that emotionally compromised me.. and we are not nearly done with this manga yet, it's still going, Kyros story is very recent in the manga.. Laws story promises to be a tear jerker to :/

What I love about all these 'tearjerking' OP moments, is that most infact are not only sad but they contain a huge load of joy/hapiness and hope mixed in between which is defenitely a different kind of emotion than just a sad/depressing scene. These are so well balanced out I have many times actually had more of a smile but at the same time teary well , u know that typical op feeling ^^
