Gosh... his ending is probably even pathetic than his story about Rin.

So Madara and Obito were against the world but suddenly they can't come in terms about MT Lol
The nine tails suddenly have infinity chakra, just to make that boy able to defeat a GOD the entire arc.

This is probably the most pathetic plot I've ever read just to make the good guys win. It's over 9000.

Just because Obito said what you said in the OP doesn't mean it was going to be 100% true. Deep down he still held on the past and what could've been if he took the right path. This manga isn't supposed to go the way you want.. its kishi's story. Sometimes you guys set your expectations to high.

He's complete fail like Pain for getting tnj. the tailed beasts were pulled out in seconds. the main antagonist was neutered in a chapter. After many chapters of build-up, the heroes win in seconds. Madara must have died off-screen, as he hasn't appeared at all recently.
Literally, the only thing I'm interesting in now is Naruto vs. Sasuke.

His story isn't about Rin.

He's realized that in the shinobi world, there's no doubt that close friends are going to die so he wanted to put an end to the ninja system by creating a new world. It's exactly what Sasuke was feeling.

I think Kishi's done some great character development, I really did feel for Obito in this chapter.

It was moronic of you not to have atleast expected something like this, atleast to some extent. If you hadn't noticed the warning signals of it, you must just breeze through the pages of the manga and barely retain any of the plot.
