me? heheh, just kidding...
my problem there is that looks like he killed every single character I liked on his manga. You know, everyone have a beloved character on a fiction that him/her somewhat identify with and when that character is suddenly wipped from the map, the only reaction left is anger or sadness, like if yourself or part of yourself is killed in the process. Like I said somewhere, it's like your watching a internation sport tournament, supposed you like to do this, and your country team is eliminated... or you simple quit watching it or you watch only to see what'll happen next, but your interest will certainly be a lot less than if your country team somewhat made it to the end.

Wow... your probably right... I, for one, am just so sucked in by the suspense that I never really thought about writing the guy anything...... except to hurry up and make the next chapter !!

It's a shame that people will resort to such tactics, but in a bizarre way it shows how much some people can be influenced so easily by almost anything.

Uh, that's the point. Why else would he kill off popular characters? He's a storyteller and what he's doing is just good storytelling. I'm more into the manga than ever before.

Although I admit that everything in the last release seemed rushed. With Hinata running in and getting destroyed in one hit, and then Naruto transforming into the mini-Kyuubi almost instantly. It just seemed like he was trying to get Naruto to transform as fast as possible. Not to mention it doesn't make sense that Hinata getting hurt would piss him off more than learning about Kakashi dieing or seeing the entire village destroyed. I guess maybe it's because this time it happened right in front of him, rather than just learning about it afterwards.

people are weird it is not like hinata was in the manga that often so that if she died people would stop reading the manga. hinata was in the manga once ever 50 chapters with no real development other then fainting when she saw naruto. it is not like people's sole reason for reading the manga was hinata. because they would be disappointed almost every chapter except for brief instances of her being in a chapter. i would understand for kakashi he was in the manga quite often. kishi wants to end the manga as soon as possible he has said this in many occasions he just wants to probably kill of some character o he does not have to develop them. the main characters is naruto and important characters as sasuke, sakura and kakashi. as long as they are alive it really does not matter. kishi would be a bad writer for listening to see how fans want the story to go. he writes the way he feels like and thinks will make the story better and to develop the main character. this is the exact same thing that happen in DBZ when krillian died to make goku go SSJ nd when android 16 got killed and gohan went SSJ2 they are just deaths that help the hero become powerful. thanks to hinata naruto reached a new power. i do not think she is death but if she is it was to develop naruto.

but i do believe kishi wanted to kill off an important character in the pain invasion. so we have kakashi and hinata in limbo i think one will die and one will live. i can not see both living or dieing. but one has to go to make pain's invasion seem more horrible. instead of just having fodders and old people die. somebody has to get whacked and i hope it is not kakashi.

Let me try to explain it from two different points of view (well, I'm something near zetsu, a double personality thing, hehhehe)

You're right, hinata wasn't in the manga that often, but that isn't the question, it's all the fans expectations for a character development, as they knew that even if this character wasn't show that much, the time will come for his/her final development. There, as you must know, her fans expected the whole confession thing years ago, but that isn't the only thing they wanted. Naruto have 2 characters that somewhat inherited naruto's personality: rock lee and hinata, two charas trying their best to overcome what everyone else tough about them: they're called weak, a failure as a shinobi and all that. Another thing about the mangas is that no one dies without a meaning, so.
What I was trying to say is: everyone have the right to like or dislike any character they want on whatever fiction they read/watch. Hinata got her fans, and it's not that low as stated on the last official popularity pool on japan. These fans wants to see her being developed further than it is right now, that's it.

Now, what I think? I have no problem about her death, but I think it's a bit too early for it, except if this battle is one of the last on the series and there are only 1 or 2 left for now.
