While they have been conversing, years must have already passed by in the dream world.

What I'm more curious about is how is everyone not noticing they are in a dream world? Specially those who knew about IT (infinite tsukuyomi). I know Naruto movies and anime/manga story-line's do not correlate completely but even so in the last movie Naruto and Sakura still retained their notion of reality once transported to the dream world. So why don't the rest of the shinobi act the same way?

Kinda funny, Madara has an attack called Limbo, but in literature, the first circle of hell "Limbo" was a deficient form of heaven in which the un-baptized where damned, without any real hope.
