[Discussion] How many badass points did Vegeta lose?

He got them back by owning Bills for A short time.

OK, being serious, I will now state my true opinion on the matter.
Akira Toriyama wasn't in love with the character Vegeta when he did DBZ. However, years of Over 9000 memes and popular Vegeta fanbases may have swayed Mr. Toriyama's opinion all the years later. As we see in the movie:
1. SSJ3 is shown being little more than canon fodder for Bills
2. Vegeta, who's known for his short fuse, has the patience of a saint trying to keep Bills from slaughtering people he once wanted to kill himself.
3. Vegeta is shown having a chivalrous side, holding his wife's honor in a higher regard than his own.
4. Vegeta SS(?) takes a blow from Bills to the face...them pushes it back and starts digging in Bills arse, doing more damage AND taking more damage than anyone else was capable of at that moment.
5. Roshi states "Vegeta finally did it, he surpassed Goku"
6. Goku himself says that he was watching everything, and that Vegeta at that time had surpassed him becoming a "Great Super Saiya-jin" and states that he should tell all the bad guys to hit Bulma

My opinion is, Toriyama's point in all that wasn't to take cool points from the man, but to further develop his character showing sides never seen before.

Not just that. I think that it's right that Vegeta did better than Goku with Bills because the Prince actually knew about the God of Destruction in the past while Goku didn't know about him. Did you watch the scene when King Vegeta was on his knees and Bills foot was on his face while kid Vegeta was watching? That scene was actually one of the best moments in the Movie or the best moment.

Get the fuk outta here with this bullshit. Look at Vegeta's face, he's obviously enjoying it. Vegeta has always wanted to be a stage performer, but his father wanted him to become a Sayian warrior.

To me he is finally 100% badass now , why you ask ?
he was dancing to prevent Bill to destroy & attack , saving his friends & family , the guy has heart now & no more BS arrogance . I love how we got some different development from him than what we are use to .
