In our time, it has been occurring for two years. In NarutoVerse time, it has been going on for two days. The current battle is occurring the same day that Kirabi and Naruto confronted Itachi and Nagato. Also, this is the same day that Kabuto was defeated. This war makes no sense but then again, this is the series where little boys can breathe fire and trees are the most powerful and feared things.
